It's hard to tell from the pictures because my camera is so old and crappy but on the second picture you can see a clear color difference, and if you see the gun in person it is for sure a purple color.

Whats weird about that though, is the nozzle cap, pump cap, and trigger are still perfectly orange.

I havent been able to really test it yet but im not that confident everything will work right. i also have not cut away any of the housing.

you are correct soakinader. I tried using jb weld and even putting around the whole piece but water always seem to come out everywhere because the whole piece was so messed up. i put some more today at the spots of where i saw it leaking but im not sure it will hold.

I tried super gluing the piece down and using a waterproof selant but it still was leaking. Not nearly as bad though but enough to where it wont hold pressure. Do you have any other suggestions on fixing this.

I recently purchased a cps 1000 off of ebay and it is not holding any water. Every time i pump the water leaks out the nozzle and the handle of the gun and also the triggers seems to tale no force at all to pull. I am wanting to buy a shoulder strap for my water warriors gorgon because i bought one and is a pretty heavy gun for not having a shoulder strap despite having loops even for the strap.
