I would use primer and ultra flat black, flat white krylon spray paint. Those are good colors for my urban settings.

I swear, it almost looks like a boomshot from gears of war, if anyone here knows what i'm saying. "BOOM!" hehe, my brother said the same thing when I bought the HB. The way you hold this gun adds to it's intimidation factor. Don't expect too much though, it lacks range on the burst mode. First thin...

I remember ya. Yeah, bbt makes the best guns now IMO, the Hydroblitz has a wacked out pump, so I don't care for it.

Too bad the one here closed down. Our little shopping center on our island got redone, so no more good stores like KB and Footlocker, and no more Red Lobster. :goofy:

Just a bunch of rubber corks from the hardware store, they are really cheap and get the job done.

They would only last one second though, and it's too much work for just one quick shot from a CPS.

Both are weak, I'd get the 2000s though, because when are you ever going to use two 270s? Never, I knoe, I've got three. :goofy: The 2000s can atleast be used when you run out of water in your main gun, just reach into your pocket and use them until you get time to refill.

The old style guns were great looking and I actually like using them. Nothing wrong with the bottles to me. If you find screwing on the bottle a problem, well, I don't really see why. You have to put the cap back on fixed resivoir guns too, unless it's a quick fill cap, and quick fill caps are garb...

If you do the sheet mod make sure you notch the new rubber line the original, or else it won't stay put. I used a regular sheet in my blazer and it came off. :goofy: I was going to notch the sheet, but I broke my blazer, so I stopped modding it. I might pick up a tigershark though.

Yeah, the idea was that the spring would add more resistance to the PCs. In theory it would add more pressure, but it hasn't been done before, atleast to my knowledge.

QFD guns are okay, as long as they don't require a QFD to fill. (Looks in room and sees a Power Pak that has only been used once since taken out of the box, next to a heavily used SC600) Yeah, hoses can keep you back with old QFD only guns, but most battles tend to be around houses. There are a lot...

Pump 'til your arms fall off! Yeah, IMO electronics and water don't mix, and while some guns using batteries might be good, I won't get one. Takes the fun out of running out of water right when you pop up to shoot. We probably won't use them but kids will, so they will have a place in the m...

every couple of months, sadly. I'm always doing something, so soakers are getting put aside, but I still bring them out once in a while!

I thought of a constant stream piston before, it probably has a bladder in it, so it's like pumping a CPS soaker with the trigger depressed, but with a smaller nozzle. Cool idea IMO.

If it slips, do what I did, and sand perpendicular to the pumping direction with 80 grit sandpaper. I just don't like the flimsieness, and the lack of reliability. It feels a little short on range too, so the 1500 wins in my eyes. Seriously though, 80 grit. :goofy:
