The trigger mod makes the trigger work better. It doesn't increase range or power. I would do a check vavle freeze which will add a couple of feet onto the range.

All of us at Soaker Media have begun a give away for a CPS 21K that is fully customizable down to what ever you want. This means, paint job, straps, whatever you want! (Just make sure the mods or customizations are do-able :;): ) There is only one prize, considering it may take us a while to custom...

Can't blame the guy for asking, he wanted to know. These are the guns that can be K-modded:

CPS 1000
CPS 1200
CPS 2100
CPS 1500
CPS 1700
CPS 2700 (dont recomend it)
CPS 1-3-5

I believe that covers all of them. Any gun not listed can not be K-modded.

You can break the check valve. I believe Blue Smudge had this happen to his CPS 1500. He was pumping it as normal when he heard a loud pop. From then on the soaker performed better. He figured that the check valve may have just broken down. I think, under a lot of stress, you can do the same to any...

Oh, okay ??? . We still need to work out what the plan is. We had thought that we could have multiple battles during the day on different fields. All guns are welcome, even homemades. We're not too sure about WBL's. The battles will start around noon time. and end just before dark. I really can't t...

I just saw an Arctic Shock Commercial on TV. I was doing stuff on my computer and then I heard the voice of the narrator for the new STE comercial. I turned to look at my TV and there it was. Odd that they only advertised one soaker though.

Most of this was talked about over at SSC. Basically Dux and I are having a war for anyone who can come on July 30-31 here in Ridgewood, NJ. We're not sure which day that weekend we'll have it, but we're pretty sure it's going to be that weekend. Any queations or comments can be made in this thread.

All guns when you are pumping get to a point where they get harder to pump. This usually means the PC is full. In modded guns, you might think that since it seems you have pumped a little under the normal amount you want to pump more. Never do that with a modded gun. I know Dux has pumped over the ...

When I use my 1500 I have the strap over my opposite shoulder so it doesn't slip off. Then the gun only goes down to around where my hip is. This is very comfortable because I only need to use one hand to fire the gun. The other hand is free until I need to pump.

CPS 1500. Good output, great range, lots of water, fairly good shot time, pretty light for a CPS, and powerful. The only flaw I can find on this soaker is the weak pump.

I think both of them are equally important. I find that having decent output can add in a small fear factor. Range can intimidate you as well. I am increasingly moving away from the performance of soakers and more along the lines of how the user uses his weapon.

I am going to build a homemade this summer. But, I do not plan on using it in a war. I don't see how it can be practicle. I used to think that range was everything, but now I don't. In the past couple of days during this nice bit of good weather, me and several friends have had a couple battles. An...

Perhaps it'd put the pressure on Hasbro (if they care, of course) to start listening to us or at least take greater measures to make better soakers. I'd say the 2005 lineup shows they've been listening to us. Couldn't agree with you more M4. As I have said all along since the beginning of 2005, Has...

It doesn't hurt to have a flashlight though. Not on the gun. Just in your backpack or in your pocket. Using a flashlight is a pretty bad idea for a night battle. In a night battle you want to be as undetectable as possible.

There is an article on sniping on XN's site. He used a scope which I thought was an interesting idea. I dont think you need one though. Super Soakers obviously don't have huge range.
