I've got some money, I think I'll make a gun like that. But I have one question, where can I get latex rubber tubing? I'll use that technique to strengthen it too. I just got to get a design. My recommendation would be butyl tubing or bladders. It is far more durable than latex, otherwise known com...

My target(the store) is selling CPS 4100's for $30 and i thought it'd be a good gun to get since my CPS 2700 is close to it's end. anyway do you think $30 is a reasonable price or not? It's as reasonable as you're going to get if you want a brand new, large soaker. Target did run a week-long sale a...

Just for fun, has anyone ever shoved a pressure gauge over the barrel of a CPS and pulled the trigger? It would be neat to graph how this relates to distance.

I've seen a few people keep this information in their footer and various posts regarding it, so here's a thread dedicated to posting about what you've got, had, or what you think would make an awesome store of available water weapons. Summer 2004 marked the pinnacle of my armory's strength, so I'll...

Very nice. Someone was wise to the fact that their material was stolen and changed the sourced images...apparently to embarass the lazy seller.

i just went to target yesterday and i didn't see any 4100's. all they had were triple shots. (which i was actually quite impressed by) Sorry they didn't have any. I wasn't terribly impressed with the Triple Shot. The reservoir is very small. It won't fire worth squat when it's full. The flat/fan bl...

I just remembered this website, on targets sale paper 4100's are on the front page! My splashzooka broke last year and I needed something to replace it! Yes! they are on sale for 20 bucks! Correct. Target has 4100's on sale for $19.99 until Saturday, June 25. Picked up quite a few today myself (and...

That's neat. I wish we had done something like that back when I was in college. I started grad school the year CPS made it's debut.

A good, used 3000 or new 3200 would make this much more simple. Unless the thing is just ragged out, been used to shoot organic solvents, or exposed to excessive ozone or UV, the rubber components will be fine. Granted, they're rather hard to find but can be had for under $100 on eBay. 110 F at nig...

I rather enjoy going to the neighborhood playground with my daughter, armed with 3200, 2700, and 1200. The kids there think I'm so awesome (smart kids), they WANT me to shoot them.

Target is carrying the full line of Super Soakers this year. It includes the CPS 4100 in same packaging as last year. They are indeed 2005 releases (not leftovers), for the body targets contain the wording "Soakertag Elite". All figures in USD. Sorry I didn't get prices on all these. CPS 4100 $29.9...

Oh hey, thanks for resurrecting this topic. I meant to report a finding of my own. My local target has two or three SoakerTag 4100s being marketed as a Target Exclusive. But I agree that a CPS 2100 for $2 is very rare and more depending on certain local areas rather than a nationwhide status. Apparently the Southeast US recieves an abundance of guns relative to the rest of the country. The number of beasts from the early millenium last year and cheap 2100's this ye...

CPS 2100, easy. Someone's selling CPS 1000 (with CPS 2000 stickers) and CPS 1500 clones on eBay presently. I'm wary of the quality on these but they appear to be selling.

Don't forget the silver/black/purple scheme.

Is lacking CPS really a "con" for an air-pressure soaker, or just a given?
