So you learned about such water guns and their workings from the internet then? Yes, I learned about all the different soakers, their nozzle settings, capacity and other details from isoaker's site and others. Falcon, do you call the different regions "States" in Australia? Yeah, they're called sta...

I know they are remakes of the same gun, but the poll called for a listing of both because they are different guns dispite the simmilarity. That's true, they are still called different names, like you wouldn't call someone's CPS 1700 a 1500, but I think they should have been listed as CPS 1500/1700...

Storm, definitely grab some CPS 1200s and 1700s while you still can! The fact that you have a store an hour's drive away is great for you. I remember a couple of years back I saw shelves lined with CPS 1000s, 1500s, 2500s, 2700s and more. And you know why I didn't buy them?? Because I hadn't heard ...

Pressurized reservoir soakers are always harder to pump to maximum pressure than seperate Pressure Chamber ones, because you're pumping air into the reservoir which is a large area rather than pumping water into a more confined space. Since the XXP 175 has two reservoirs, this makes it take even lo...

No, they're two different guns. ??? Actually, they're identical in every way apart from their colours. The CPS 1700 is just a perfected final variant of the CPS 1500, and is less prone to faults such as the metal gauze filter inside the nozzle coming loose, which was apparently a problem that earli...

If you do everything Falcon did and make the main nozzle a 5x, you'd have a really good gun... right now it's simply mediocre-to-subpar. Yes, if the nozzle of the Triple Aggressor was 5x, it had a CPS Pressure Chamber, the sponge was replaced with a water balloon filler and the mini soaker was CPS ...

I do live in Australia. I don't know if you misread, but I was saying that those of you that live in America have easy access to pretty much every CPS soaker, and usually for a low price, through ebay.

I think I'd buy some Double Attakkars (SP on purpose) if they made them. That sponge is simply... useless. Yes, that sponge is incredibly stupid. The last thing you want to be worrying about is retrieving the sponge in the middle of an intense battle. Hasbro could have replaced the sponge with some...

If you are lucky enough to live in America, (and most of you are) then you can find virtually any CPS soaker on ebay. Also, Amazon.com have CPS 4100s for 20 bucks, which is cheaper than you'll find most for on ebay anyway. You can also do what I did (if you can be bothered) and call every Toys "R" ...

I go into a battle armed with a CPS 1700 and a Max-D 4000 as a sidearm. The 4000 is equipped with a strap for easier handling. In a day or two I will have Dual CPS 3200s for when I need serious firepower or when someone MUST pay. :;):

I'd go with the Helix and the Liquidator. But beware, the Liquidator might be named "Pressurizer" in Australia, so watch out. If you'll note on eBay.de, some foreign guns are renamed. For instance, the Secret Strike was called the "Blast Fire." I can't imagine that the Liquidator would be renamed i...

While we're on the subject of the Monster XL, does anyone else have the problem that when you use the QFD with it, it fills the PCs fine, but when you try to keep going it makes a horrible screeching noise? I have always been concerned by this, but a while back I decided to keep going anyway, and i...

Larami made crap. Oh they definitely made crap. I'd like to know who came up with the wise idea of the XP-90 and XP-85. Or the CPS 1-3-5 Blaster or the XP-Backfire. Ever used an SS 20? It's also total crap. Don't start hailing Larami as flawless. Well yes, you're right, but the good soakers typical...

Why is diaphram tech superior to CPS tech? As far as I know, (and I could be wrong) the only difference is that WW soakers don't have a little hole in the PC to allow air to escape, allowing a little compressed air to assist in pushing the CPS-like chamber. This doesn't seem to make very much diffe...

I *think* that Larami was bought out just before the EES series was made, (2003) and Hasbro made the EES series, not Larami. The 1998 line was excellent, and so was the 2000/01 line, which were both made by Larami. I don't know if you're talking about the Max-D series when you say that Larami was m...

I have some suggestions, Big Bee. For new CPS-like soakers, you should make the Pressure Chambers stronger so they get more power, range and velocity. Also use 900mL/30oz. and larger as guidance when deciding what size the Pressure Chambers should be. Also, for air pressure blasters, try to give th...

as a giant water war with multiple CPS class soakers, that lasted several hours would probably use as much water as a single person watering their garden in the morning for 5 minutes would. Err, I don't think that's accurate.... If you had 20 people which would be a {"giant war" and lets say they h...
