Re: UK AP Sphinx?
I think they did. Not 100% sure, but I may have seen one in The Entertainer that lacked the vent hole on the PC that the Hydropower ones have.

Re: Super Soaker Electrostorm
If it's that small, it might be decent for Assassins. Only if it fires the moment you pull the trigger. In my (limited) experience motorised blasters suffer a slight lag, and a noisy lag at that thanks to the motor. That'll make the difference between a stealth kill and your target diving for cover...

Re: Nerf Super Soaker Microburst
Everything below it however, is almost useless even for assassins; you're better off with a water bottle with a pinhole cap; it'd be less obvious. 240s were all over the place at Cambridge Assassins, and I ended up killed by one, my killer whipped it straight out of their coat and I was dead before...

Re: CPS 1000 vs 1200 vs 2100
I can't favour either of the 1000 and 1200 over the other. The 2100 comes third IMHO, thanks to no strap, worse one-handed balance, and being a bit smaller capacity-wise.

Re: Nerf Super Soaker Microburst
You know, I'm actually hopeful for this. I like compact weapons, I guess it comes from having played Assassins. When a blaster's this small, I don't need OMG power. This looks about squirt gun size, but unless Hasbro completely screw it up (which is entirely possible), it should outrange and outsoak...

Re: Super Soaker Electrostorm
Looks like a clip would fit perfectly...but no, they have to abandon their own hat and go with a small fixed reservoir.
Also, based on the side and design, I'm seeing this replacing the Point Break/High Tide.

Well, stands to reason a good blaster is the best way to employ holy water.

Re: Stock Blaster Predictions for 2012
Well, we know SS are sticking with the same line. Expect the Hydro Cannon and a number of the others to continue, however, there may be tweaked versions with the drum magazine. Expect the drum to be hard to get separately, based on precedent with the Overload's Aquapack. The Lightning Storm and HC w...

Re: Hasbro Reveals First Super Soaker of 2012!!!!
Oh yeah. I forgot about that.
However, that gimmicky blaster has a higher output stream* than any pressurised Super Soaker from the 2010 and 2011 lineups!
How the mighty do fall.
(* ie not a riot blast)

Sadly, I can believe they'd release something like this. (Maybe a bit less pointy at the front). With performance to match the High Tide.

You have to disable the PRV if, when you try and pump the gun, it activates before the pressure chamber is properly full.

Re: What Off-Season?
Now what I despise are brambles. An absolute nightmare to get rid of, even hitting them with glyphosphate won't stop them returning next year, and they'll stick me through the gloves. According to Wikipedia there's an English legend that the Devil enters them on the 11th October. Well that's not tru...

Re: What Off-Season?
In England 1st October was the hottest October day EVER (well, since records began) reaching 30 C / 86 F. It's quite a bit cooler now, but still above average for this time of year.
Never got the chance to get the soakers out though.
