Re: CPS 1100 with 2 nozzles OUTPUT STATS UP + K-MOD - SHOULD I?

I just finished up a 10 balloon k-mod and will test soon. From there, I will add or remove balloons to my own discretion. Thanks for the input!

Re: CPS 1100 with 2 nozzles OUTPUT STATS UP + K-MOD - SHOULD I?

Hmm, I'm now thinking of performing a k-mod to further increase its range and output. To all: Should I go for for the PRV disable and 60-80 balloons, or should I go light, like 20-30 maximum?

Re: Armory for a 10 Man Team

@M4: C-A_99 is right, MI stands for Max Infusion. MI soakers' reservoirs can be expanded via a Max Infusion backpack aka aquapack. The reason I add MI is so that the soaker is not confused with the STE (Soaker Tag: Elite) Flash Flood. Though I now realize they're the same thing except the reverse th...

Re: Want better water blasters? Wish here!

Now that I've tried the Vindicator, I'm much more optimistic about BBT and the soaking future. I'm even thinking of scrapping the APH. The APH is expensive to build, and anyways, my dad says that 10 soakers is enough, whether they work or not.

Re: My CPS 1100 with 2 nozzles UPDATE OUTPUT MEASURED!

I measured the soaker's output just now. Here is the procedure I went through: 1. Shoot water out of blaster at a 270 degree angle (straight down) into a 1L water bottle. The small space at the top minimizes splashback. 2. Pour the water into 1 cup measuring cups. 3. Fire the blaster again, this tim...

Re: Want better water blasters? Wish here!

I'm not too picky about pump:tap. MY XP 270s get almost 2:1 and my CPS's get something like 3:1. Even 3:1 is very useful and convenient. I agree with C-A_99 that 500mL for a PC is the dead minimum I'd go for for a custom blaster. And while we sit here, interacting on computers, dreams are alright. B...

Re: My CPS 1100 with 2 nozzles

Well said. Personally, I like its range; I find range and output are the primary factors in our wars, but thanks for all the insight on how the mod worked. DX, thanks for the monster post!

Re: Want better water blasters? Wish here!

I wish for a CPS 2000 remake. If not, a spherical CPS blaster with a 700mL PC and a 3L reservoir and a 10 x blast with a 50 ft. range.

@teamfear: I was in a rush to reply to all the posts, so I assumed BBT used Hydro Power with the Vindicator like they did with the Orca/Tiger Shark. My mistake.

Re: My CPS 1100 with 2 nozzles

Alright guys, thanks for all the feedback (good and bad)! I'm looking into refining the mod even more and possibly making a custom handle for the pump. You probably noticed that's the 2500 pump on there. The 2100 handle snapped so I'm using the 2500's pump as a short-term solution.
