Looking back at the 2003 and 2004 releases of the EES and ST lines and the ending of the EES line, I predict that Hasbro's core lineup will be a new soaker line with a novelty twist. Soaker Tags will simply be assimilated into next year's lineup as a standard component of Super Soakers. Any possibl...

Yes, we have yet to see two soakers released in direct competition to each other. If such an event ever occured in some year between the lineups of two soaker-producting companies, then we could have a more solid "which is better?" thread. Perhaps next year if Big Bee rolls out several soakers mean...

Is Damon fort located on one of the dirt hills? If so, occupy it as soon as possible when the war begins, If not, try setting up a base/fort there ASAP. Even if it'd not on one of the dirt hills, try having control of Damon Hill just to have a fortified position. Also, what does the "2000" on the m...

Strangely this is turning into a thread about trading cards. I'll connect the TCG topic tot he ebay topic with this comment: during the peak of their popularity, the rarest trading cards are auctioned on ebay at insane prices. All for pieces of cardboard that have a random cahnce of beign worth som...

that really depends on the nature of the diaphragm altogether. i, personally, don't know how the system works. can anyone explain? Unfortunately, Big Bee never told us much about how the diaphragm pressure technologyworks, except for the fact that it has the same effect as Hasbro's CPS technology. ...

true, but what i am saying is that we should have a way for everybody to communicate without having to sign up at another forum or even leave the website they are posting the most on. I'd like to post at ssc, but i don't have the time and I only have a one or two-track mind. if i start regularly po...

The way I figured it was like this: The ratio of 1 to 1.5 means an increase of 50%. 50% of $55 is $27.5. $27.5 + $55=$82.5. That's several dollars more than $75. Now that I'm thinking about it, 82.5 is the average between $75 and $90, so we're both half-right.Soakologist wrote:More like $90 bucks,Yang.

A monster XL costs £55 over here. How much is that in american dollars? Since that's in euros then it's definetely overpriced. USing the 1:1.5 ratio, the US$ price of the MXL where is you is over $75. Back to the topic, I'm sure that Marvel will release yet another Spiderman cannon when Spiderman 3...

Interestign but very risky for someone like me because I'm terrible at tech stuff. Most of the times I've tried to take apart a soaker I've broken them.Spinner wrote:Field Marshal Yang wrote:I'm not familar with the term XPSed. Could you tell me what it means and how you moded your XP 70?

An xp220 vs cps 2700? Thats kinda cruel man. Not if it was a one-hit-kill game. A person with XP/MAX-D soaker could beat another person with a CPS soaker if the first person had better manueverbility and range. Then again, the 220's range isn't good enough to challenge the 2700 but at least with on...

Strange how this has become an anime thread rather than an ebay thread. Oh well. Perhaps we should have a seperate anime thread in this forum. In Japan the crime rate is a lot lower than in the US, and that's one of the reasons children's shwos have less restrictions. Also, in Japan religions that ...

the cps 2700. the thing is huge and i love the 10x blast. i got it for 20 bucks too! i had fun fighting my cousin who had an xp220! My friend unscrewed the nozzle selector so now it has a nozzle diameter over that of a 20X. However, it takes the output to have a true 20X+ shot. By the way, ...

I went to my local TRU yesterday and there were no more soakers left, not even for clearance. I also went to my local Target today and no soaker either. The only place I found soakers at was Sports Authoritya nd that's because people don't usually buy soakers at SA. They a few CPS 2100s (I bought o...

I saw it at my local shops and it was $45! I was wandering whether it was worth it but now I know not to. Even if it was a CPS soaker, I would still call $45 overpriced. Only the MXL had a regular price over $40 and the MXL is certainly a lot bigger than the Spiderman/Hulk cannon. Also, with the ce...

Although most of Larnard's soakers are pump-action, some of them employ air pressure. Is the Stinger one of the air pressure soakers or is it part of the pump-action majority? Also, how much was shipping on the Stinger you won on ebay? One more thing I'd like to note is that Lanard dosen't have a c...
