Re: Which water gun is stronger, a cps 2000 mk1 or spyra 2/1
Welcome to WWN! The CPS 2000 mk1 has a longer range as far as I'm aware, but the Spyra is no slouch in terms of power and has a respectable range. If you can only pick one, your decision should probably focus more on availability (older blasters like the CPS 2000 mk1 are becoming harder to find) or ...

iSoaker has some information here: http://www.artofsoaking.com/2021/12/23/upcoming-nerf-super-soaker-water-blasters-for-2022/ http://www.artofsoaking.com/2021/12/26/two-more-nerf-super-soaker-water-blasters-for-2022/ I'm not particularly impressed with the new blasters, unfortunately, but I'm also n...

Nice find. I don't think this was posted before. Looks like a high quality product.
One of these days I'll finally get around to making a homemade water gun to the quality seen in this water balloon mortar...

I assume that you're referring to these:

The price does seem far too high to me. The seller can set whatever price they want, though. I don't expect anyone to buy these.

Re: 3D Printed SS100 Clone
Welcome to WaterWar.net! Nice work so far. I would definitely recommend making the parts under continuous pressure out of tougher materials. Fortunately for a SS 100 style blaster the components that are under pressure (reservoir, tubing, check valves) are readily available aside from the pump. You ...

Re: Broken CPS 2000 mk. 2, selling for shipping cost
I guess the screws must have been thrown out by my father whenever the box was thrown out. It doesn't make sense to me why the blaster would come with its screws removed. I have no recollection of removing the screws or looking at the blaster. My experience with this CPS 2000 and my CPS 1000 is goin...

Re: Broken CPS 2000 mk. 2, selling for shipping cost
CDMT messaged me and I'll be shipping to him provided the price is acceptable. I'm attaching some photos of the blaster. It's in worse condition than I recall but I am confident that it can be put into working order again. There is no pump handle. (My CPS 1000 also is lacking its pump handle, as wel...

The forum must be truly dead if I am offering a CPS 2000 (broken or not) for cheap and get no responses!

Re: Spyra One review
Sorry to hear about your injury CDMT. I had a bad ear infection perforate one of my eardrums over a decade ago, so I can sympathize. I hadn't heard about water guns hurting ears before, but it makes sense. Water can go places other projectiles can't. I might recommend what are called "bandless earmu...

Re: 2020 vertical jet tests
A week ago I finally tried tiny drilled nozzles and found the jet to be poor quality, likely due to the drilled nozzle having rough edges and/or being uneven. Further tests are on hold until I can find a way to do the tests outdoors with minimal effects from wind, find a way to make good small nozzl...

Broken CPS 2000 mk. 2, selling for shipping cost
Around a decade ago, Adrian sent me a broken CPS 2000 mk. 2 on the condition that I don't give it away again. Unfortunately I can't fulfill that promise any longer as I've moved into a new apartment and don't have the space. It's either give the blaster to someone else or throw it away, and I can't ...

Re: Super soaker CPS 2500
I've thought about this for a bit, and I don't think I have enough information to make a diagnosis. If you could upload a video of the problem to YouTube or some other video website, that'd be helpful. I'd like to see and hear the problem, so keep the camera close and avoid background noise.

Re: WW Pulse Master durability?
I have no experience with a Pulse Master, but I'd expect the durability to be reasonable given that one is gentle with the blaster. My impression is that water blasters used to be more durable. I'm specifically thinking about the XP 150 which had a fairly thick reservoir. Cost-cutting surely lead to...

Re: WW Pulse Strike is interesting
Sounds nice. I'd be interested in seeing some photos of the nozzle and also the resulting stream.
Re: Nozzles
Hi, welcome to WaterWar.net! Is that 75-80 psi? What nozzle diameter are you looking to have? What size is the pipe that the nozzle is attaching to? I'm assuming that you're using about 3/4" NPT/GHT for the pipe. One thing to keep in mind is that a stream can look bad but still get great range. If y...

Re: Super Soaker XP 240 opening
I have no experience specifically with the XP 240, but I can say that if you're having trouble getting the pump cap and nozzle cap off, they're probably glued on. I'm not sure that a knife is the right way but it might work. I've seen people saw off these parts in the past. Here's an old guide showi...

Re: CPS laminator changes for '98
I haven't heard about differences in the laminators for the 1998 CPS series before. The marks guide I have does list performance differences but does not attribute these to the laminator. I'd recommend posting pictures of what you do have when you get the chance. I do recall seeing photos of the lam...
