I like the look of it. It probably would have been better with a regular pump though, and a bigger pump volume...maybe they could fix this for next year. I'm interested to see the internals, though. One thing though, I thought that Big Bee said that they couldn't make their blasters look too much l...

I take it you've made sure that the rubber disk is sitting properly on the outlet hole? I remember my 1500 had the same problem not so long ago, and it turns out there was a small splint of wood holding the rubber disk open! Good luck fixing it, anyway.

Also, since the Blazer has smaller nozzles, doesn't that mean it has more pressure to each of them, and therefore more force? This would seem logical, but it doesn't quite work like that in this case. All of the nozzles have around the same 'feel' to them, smaller nozzles don't yield a higher press...

Okay, I need to straighten a few things out first. In my last post I was pointing out that the Piranha and Blazer have identical power, with the Blazer having better shot time and capacity. The 1000 had nothing to do with that comparison. I'll have to edit my last post (again). Anyway, as for the 1...

Wild Boys, the Blazer and Lightning actually shoot around the same distance. I used to own a Piranha too. :;): Hannibal, the choice is up to you. The Piranha and Blazer are pretty much identical powerwise, the Blazer just has the advantage of shot time and capacity. However I actually prefer the Pi...

Yeah, I really want a Blazer. I've heard it's as good as a CPS 1000 minus the large nozzle and plus the extra nozzle selections. And, of course, it gets great range, like 40+ feet. I'd disagree with that. I have a 1000, and have used a '05 Blazer quite a bit. While the Blazer is a nice gun, in term...

According to This Article a CPS 1000 shoots at 64.9fps. Unfortunately they didn't give any results for other guns, but at least that gives an indication of what to expect. :cps1000:

I was browsing through the Spudtech forums when I came across this topic: U.K Spudgun Supplies Sites It seems that members here from the U.K were having trouble finding PVC pipe and fittings for homemades and WBL's, so I thought this might be useful to them. Haven't really looked through it myself,...

The soaker in between the Helix and the Arctic Shock looks to me like a recoloured Hydroblade...if you look closely you can see a faint outline of the 'blade' (of course I could be wrong). I'm interested to see if there's anything else apart from what's on the box...I probably won't buy any though,...

Yup, that's exactly what mine is doing. And as for that funny pump problem...I opened it up, but the valves are out of reach unfortunately so I can't fix any blockages (if there are any). Ah well, it's still a great gun to use. It's summer over here at the moment so I'll have to battle-test it soon...

Bought a CPS 1500 online recently and it has a couple of problems that I need some help on. Here goes: 1. This first one is kind of hard to explain, and is pump related. When I pull out the pump at a normal speed it lags really badly. I have to wait a few seconds as the valve slowly lets water into...

I somehow don't think we're going to get the line first this year. I remember seeing the first prechargers in the stores around September last year, but I haven't seen anything new in the stores so far this year. In fact we're only just beginning to get the 2005 Super Soaker line in shops (at about...

I lived in Australia for a while, and over there and here in New Zealand those fittings are common. I don't remember the exact name of it, but you could take the QFD with you to your local hardware store and show it to them, and explain that you need a fitting to attach it to your hose. It'll proba...

Well, all went well with the gun. The CVF (my first ever) wasn't too difficult and everything seems to be fixed, although I'll have to be careful about how much I pump the gun up now. There was also a VERY leaky pump on this thing as well, so I stuck a new O-ring on and then put vaseline on it...no...

Thanks for your input, guys. I did try filling with the QFD, however it just slowly pushes the water back into the reservoir when you take it off. I have no idea how a valve repair could be done, so I'll just do a CVF I think. I'll let you guys know how it goes. Thanks for your help! I just have to...

Okay, a little help needed please! I recently bought an SC 500 for $5 and it has a problem: after only about 4 pumps, the pressure relief valve kicks in and spits the water back into the reservoir. Has anyone had this problem before, and can anyone offer any advice on what to do? I was thinking tha...

I have been checking the stores every few days and so far there isn't much, but each time I go back there are more soakers on the shelves than last time. The PSI rating is what was actually measured by the manufacturer. I found the original instruction and specfication charts in pdf format for various older super soakers on the internet. I can send you the CPS 2000 one if you like. This is where I found out that the CPS 2000 was 45 p.s.i, compared t...

Thanks for the info Wild Boys, that's one nice 2000 you've got there! I still need to find some way of making an unbreakable trigger...anyway, when it was w...
