Re: 2018 WWN League Season Opener
I think I should be available May 26th. Are we still on for the 12th though? David and DX need to by bus tickets, so changing the date last minute wouldn't be good. IDK if they have bought tickets yet, or what the refund policy on such things is, but we need to get this sorted ASAP! I was also going...

Re: 2018 WWN League Season Opener
The 19th wont work for me. That is my sister's graduation. I'd rather not miss it, but the biggest issue is that I need to drive out there to help bring all her stuff home regardless.

Re: 2018 WWN League Season Opener
Well, sounds like no one else needs a ride, so I guess I will start asking local friends.

Re: 2018 WWN League Season Opener
So is anyone around me going to need a ride for this thing? So far I am bringing David, and likely DX. I can fit one more, so just wanted to check with people here before I talked to any local friends.

Re: Spyra One
See, I am one of those weirdos who actually liked the design of the Vindicator. Having the handle in the back may make a water blaster virtually impossible to shoot on handed, but I find it far more stable. With traditional bottom mounted grips, I find all but the smallest guns too top heavy to one ...

Re: 2018 WWN League Season Opener
May 12-13 will work for me. I will also ask a few local friends to see if any of them can come, and check with David as well.
Now that we have an event on the board, maybe I will be motivated to try and fix some broken blasters!

Can we go back to motorized battery blasters? I think I am starting to miss those.

Re: Same gun?
Looking at your links, the Stingray is indead the same as the Equalizer/Outlaw. I have two of the origonal run Equalizers, while they are certainly better than anything Super Soaker makes these days, they still leave something to be desired. Being a larger pressure reservoir gun, once you get it bel...

Re: 2018 WWN League Season
Sounds like a good plan, I really haven't been the most active on here lately (though I guess I've never been super active), but I will plan to attend at least all the League wars. I would be up for hosting one of them too, but I still haven't found a spot around here that I feel would work for an a...

Re: Bring Back the League!
Bringing the League back is an interesting idea. I think we might be going about it wrong though. Instead of meeting up for a single battle, we should do multiple battles starting with a 3 hour League battle with fixed teams, but then going into our more regular style and mixing the teams up. That w...

Re: HOG
What's going on with Labor Day? If the issue is just with local people (in Kingston) maybe I could try and hold something around DC.

Re: HOG
Just checked and I do have Labor Day off for school, I wanted to make sure as my school rarely has days off during the semester, I think the only other one I get for the fall is Thanksgiving. My Friday class goes until 11:50 am, which should give me enough time to pick up David (depending on if/when...

Re: HOG
I start classes on the 28th of August. While it might be possible to drive up there then depending on my workload, I'd prefer to have it before then. Next weekend is open for me. I will try not to drop off for two months so I can communicate with you all on future war plans. Heck, maybe I can even m...

Don't forget backpacks to carry the food/water! I always carry one, and it is a great idea.

Re: HOG
Only two days to go! Not really sure if I should be excited or scared. Really wish I could get some local friends to go, but the way you have been playing up the intensity of this, I don't think any of them could handle it and would likely ruin the event with their complaining. Haven't even finished...

Re: Battle for Little Creek
With the LEGO con starting only two days after I got back, I haven't even had time to put stuff away from this trip, but I wanted to pop on real quick and thank marauder for hosting and everyone else who could come. It was a really great war, I keep having to remind myself it was only 6 people, beca...

Re: Battle for Little Creek
Chief: Taking the bus is fine, we talked about it and realized that without a phone pickup might be hard. in fact David realized if he took the bus he could come a few days early and have time to hang out with me, play my model trains, and go on a big thrifting run! I think he plans to take the bus ...

Re: Battle for Little Creek
Double post, but I figured it would be more obvious then updated the post above. David is able to come if Chief can pick him up at Newark-Penn Station. Alternatively he might be able to take a Bus down to DC a couple days early and pick him up here. I believe Chief you said you don't have a phone at...

Re: Battle for Little Creek
Sure, it would be nice to have company in the car. Actually Chief, could you pick up David at Newark-Penn Station? I still have to call/text him tomorrow to see if he is even able to come, but if he is, it would make a lot more sense if you got him on the way down and I could go pick up Ben. If not ...

Re: Battle for Little Creek
August 2nd-6th are the only dates I know I am not available. That said, I am probably going to go on an RV trip with my grandpa sometime in August, so it would be best to have dates for the war planned out soon so that I can plan that other trip. Also is SEAL still planning on having a war in NY?
