I'd go with the Blazer, too. It is the closest any recent soaker has come to CPS, and although I personally don't like it, there's not much else out there. Of course, don't expect "blazing" performance.

So, what's the consensus on the Krypton (05 or 06)? Is it better or worse than the Blazer? I like the Krypton, but it seems really bulky.

Yes, if the PreCharge time is the same, then there must be less pressure in the PreCharge compartment. I usually don't like dual wielding--but if I had to, I would use a CPS 1500/1700 as a primary and a Power Pak as my secondary. It's a shame I have neither of those guns, but the 1500/1700 can be outclassed by practically any homemade...
