Re: Vanquisher Repair

WW Lightning isn't exactly CPS. I don't think that would work. I may be interested in the 2100 bladder though. Do you think you could measure the ID of it for me? Out of curiosity, what's wrong with the Lightnings? @CA99: Isn't that a risk that's taken whenever someone does a PR removal on a CPS? Le...

Re: Vanquisher Repair

I removed the net a while ago when I was K-modding it, so I don't think any of that a problem. Even if I hadn't, removing the net would be easy enough.

Vanquisher Repair

A while ago, the bladder in my Vanquisher ruptured, so I'm going to work on repairing it now. I'm pretty sure the only way to fix it is to replace the bladder. However, nobody sells spherical bladders as far as I know. Does anyone know of anything that could take its place? My plan, if I can't find ...

Re: Supersoaker.com is truly Nerfed

Supersoaker.com has redirected to the Super Soaker section of Nerf.com since SS became part of Nerf. Not sure when they decided to just redirect to the Nerf home page though.

Re: If You Were A Video Game Character

Everything would be in slow motion to me, resulting in really fast reflexes.

But, that would only work for a 1 player game.

Re: Most and Least Maneuverable Blasters

My least maneuverable blaster is probably my CPS 2700. I think the best gun I have that's easily maneuverable is the CPS 1200.

Re: Need LRT !

Just a word of caution about LRT from McMaster. I bought some and it was slightly curved. Like it was part of a giant circle. Did anyone else encounter this? Well, duh. They have it on rolls before they cut a length for you. I have maybe a foot of LRT, but it's very small - around 1/4" in diameter.

Re: Stream Machine Product Discussion

While searching their site, I found this and this. I didn't know Stream machine made pressurized guns. We may want to look into those. But then again, they are likely crap. The CSG X5 appears to have a pinch trigger, and the CSG X4 has no reservoir cap, probably just a screw-on bottle.

I used PEX on my Hydro Cannon. CPVC isn't available where I live either.

Re: SuperSoaker Hydro Cannon for Boat Wars

If he has no access to WW, the Hydro Cannon probably is his best option though, and he may be willing to pay $30 (it's actually a $25 gun though). If you have access to parts to make a homemade water gun though, that's another option. But if you're just looking to buy a gun that's powerful, has dece...

Re: SuperSoaker Hydro Cannon for Boat Wars

The Hydro Cannon isn't that bad. It's about as powerful as an Arctic Blast, but doesn't have a Max-D trigger, and pumping is comfortable. But most importantly, it has lots of potential for modding. You can colossus mod it, you can give it a PC expansion or replacement, you can do a reservoir expansio...

Wow, sorry about that. lol

MOARC is pretty much the ultimate design, but it would be more difficult to get all the parts. Make the MOARC if you can.

Re: Boat water war.. Some advice please! ;)

An APH, as CA_99 linked to above, will probably work well. Instead of connecting it to a water backpack, you can just connect a long piece of tubing and throw it into the water. You may have to weight the end of the tubing to keep it submerged.

Re: Soaker Training Center

My idea is pretty much the opposite of CA_99's. Assuming space was limited to a small store, I would make a large waterproof room that people can have wars inside. Like Laser Quest, but with water guns. Blaster rentals would be available, though you could bring your own. For safety reasons, homemade...

Good stuff. I don't have much money right now, but when I do I'd be happy to take a Colossus and maybe a CPS.

I reluctantly voted for the Colossus 2, although later I got a Python 2 and I love it. I definitely see why it was voted the best.

By the way, I don't see a place to comment on the best 2013 water gun page.

Also, maybe this could be turned into a trading card game. There could be character cards, and different blaster cards that you attach to them and stuff.

Re: Most Underrated Blasters (Amongst Community)

Piston Guns. When well designed, they can dish out an impressive amount of water quickly, making them very effective in soakfests. The Arctic Shock and Switch Shot are how you don't design piston guns. But I really like guns like the WW Shark and SS Sneak Attack. Back in a soakfest when they first c...
