Re: Other gametypes
I still don't really think that classes are implemented at all in the games our community plays. What do you believe distiguishes you as a HWO? Perhaps using one of your homemades would begin to make that distinction, but the reason so few guns and fighting styles are used is because they are the mo...

Re: Which Performance Mods have YOU done?
As far as I can remember, the only preformance mods I have done are a lol PRV plug on a nearly broken MD3k that proceded to break furthen and get lost, and a 15 balloon k-mod on my cursed 2100. I haven't posted anything about it because the damn gun keeps having simple problems that I am too much of...

I might be worthy of note that you are going to have a fun time layering that LRT if you go with the same ID as the OD of the otheer piece.

Re: Other gametypes
Haha, I tried to right that snipers wouldn't work, but my stupid keyboard failed and wrote that it would. The problem with taking the flag back to one's own base is that there may be little to no conflict if one side has a faster runner. Basically, you would have to make the field fairly large just ...

Re: Other gametypes
I used to wonder why paintball guns are sometimes called taggers. I guess it's because several of these gametypes are essentially tag. :goofy: I don't think the snipers gametype wouldn't work for the same reason snipers don't work in general. Engagement range is so limited that snipers could easily ...

Re: Soakerphilia - for the Love of Soakers - Funky Soaker Pics
Someone called this out earlier: predicted the re-release of the Shot Blast with a scope. Anyone who knows the slightest thing about what Nerf SS has been doing and is honest will know that this comes as no surprise at all. Unfortunately, the mods required to turn this into anything useful (i.e. a ...

Re: The Tempest Returns
As atvan and his team approached the bay at point 6, he saw a saw a line of boats waiting at its mouth. "I didn't realize the opposition was so well supplied," he said to his friends, "The Tempest may be no trouble at all." He was getting ready to lie down and take a short nap when he heard the dis...

They uesed to be on amazon for the same price as the white and blue ones. I agree with CA though, the colors sort of clash and just generally look bad.

Re: Roleplay setup: The standoff town
Oncoming storm, it might be a good idea to balance your character somewhat. Notice that most characters have weaknesses and more realistic weaponry.

Where is this fluid dynamics you speak of?
The design is not all that complicated. The original thread also gives a good deal of information.

The air cannon part of that show was always somewhat boring. My favorites are the torsion and gravity divisions.

SEAL, the Hydroblitz has two bladders— the main bladder that powers the main nozzle, and the weaker secondary bladder that is filled with the main bladder and powers the blitz nozzle.

Re: Super Cannon 3 design tips
I always felt like the original SuperCannon's design had promise for very small blasters that would be used for games like assasins. Made with 1 or 1 1/4 inch pipe and perhaps a 1/4 inch feed tube, It could easily fit in a pocket and then be pulled out and fired from the waist level at the target. B...

Re: The Colossus SMG Project
Nice paint job. I like the idea you had in mind with the yellow stripe, but I think that the colour doesn't quite work. I think mabe a dark blue might have been better to add some variety.

Re: Duelfest!! Tournament
SS 300 vs CPS 3000 I'm going to agree with Belisaurius here, the CPS 3000 is better, if only because of the trigger— aiming should be much easier. ~10% Colossus 2 vs XP 150 I think I will go for the XP 150 here, though I think it will be close because both have similar things going for them. ~2.5% C...

I think he is referencing adronl's 6 inch pipe cannon from awhile back on SSC.
