Nice! Mind if I quote part of this on my 2005 preview? This is good news! I checked Target.com and apparently, these items haven't made it to their website yet. Strange, but I am extremely glad that CPS has made a return, whether it is in the CPS line of Super Soakers or plain-old CPS-type Super So...

I heard a very long time ago on the SSC Forums that there was a special nozzle design that created near-perfect laminar flow. I don't remember the details if they were there, but if there was to be a specialized sniper-type design, I wouldn't mind seeing some modified version of this (getting hit b...

^ Not endorsing is stupid. I thought we all learned that from Commander Bob last year. This is VISIBLE IMPROVEMENT. For all we know, the price limit just went up from $20 to $30. Stop complaining. The only real problem I have is the some of the colors, especially the Vaporizer colors, I loved the g...

Well that's fine. I had every single image saved and the auction as well.

They'll be uploaded to SSCentral in a minute.

:)

Edit: http://www.sscentral.net/2005/

There you have it! The auction plus a pic of the SS Mega Cannon I had stuffed somewhere.

Weird thing is that both Hasbro and Buzz Bee are making their own backpack guns! And they both are similarly named, AquaPack and AquaPak! This will get confusing come next year. Abbreviations will happen, I suppose one will be something like the SS AP and the WW AP. I thought eBay may turn somethin...

Not sure exactly how this is a submission. Anyway, if you'd like to increase range further, these two articles I have been told are extremely helpful.

And welcome back! I was wondering if you just stopped, good to see you didn't.

I emailed Hasbro about the 2005 line myself. What they said was less than helpful, though I am glad that at least someone has some connections with the Super Soaker line. The email is quoted below. I plan on adding this to the Mailbag vol. 2 at SSCentral when I get more useful emails. I've also rec...

I've talked to him on AIM about it... and to those who think it's a homemade - you're wrong. It's more of a system or method of play than anything else. Just if someone was thinking it was a homemade... :)

Interesting, please post any other information you recieve. I'd love to hear of the possible return of any Super Soaker brand CPS. I am assuming that this is what we are talking about, considering that I am sure a HydroPower gun will be released next year.

On eBay I bought an XP 150 mk.1 for $0.99. Shipping was around $12, however I got ripped off by the seller, according to the packaging it was actually about $4-5. Either way, great deal on a great gun. Watch out for stuff like that. If people paid as much attention to the good XPs as they did to an...

Where do you have these commercials? On tape? I've been looking for old SS commercials on old tapes but I've had no luck, I have sufficient equipment to copy them over to the computer. Do you think you could possibly do that? I'd like to see this commercial.

What is this "S.O.A.K.E.R.S." Movie I keep hearing about? Should be coming out soon. Hasbro got a different company to make the (new) GI Joe movie a bit earlier than the SS movie. With the amount of power necessary to fire an extremely long distance with a piston soaker such as the Californian Water Cannon, I've wondered whether a mechanical force could be used to force the tube up with that much power. A normal plastic piston might not hold up that kind of force so maybe on...

I heard it fires 100 feet. That obviously is a lie. You'll need a hell of a lot more power than you can get from a powersoaker-like gun to do that. The most I'd see it going is 60 feet. The problem with guns like these is that you get one shot (unless it has a backpack), and you can't really hold i...

It all depends on the shape of the bladder. If it is spherical, K-mod it. If it's cylindrical, Collosus that baby. If it's Diaphram (unlikely), then try the spring mod.

Open her up and see what the chamber looks like.

Hasbro made a shitload of cash. It was the actual stores who had trouble selling (at least from what I've heard). That doesn't make sense to me, because the soakers get bought out really early in the season where I live (except for this year, either they keep it well stocked or it's not being bough...
