Re: Current Project(s)

I'll be working on my long ignored CPH, and then most likely giving my CPS 3000 a backpack replacement. I'm kind of tight for cash, so that might be all.

Re: Hands-On: Super Soaker Bottle Shot

On the box/on the site, it says you can use 2L bottles, or any bottle with a neck like those or the 710mL bottles. I agree that the intake tube is a bit short, but they have to give you a reservoir.

My latest is the MD6k for this year.

Don't know how many more I'll add this year.

Re: Super Soakers in 2008

The new MD6K scheme is nice, I've seen the MD2K, its like some older colours of MD5K, and you might want to add in the XP 215. They have them at Real Canadian Superstore.

Re: YAY I finally have a CPS 2000....x4

I'm surprised DX.

The Colossus is probably not as good as a K-mod, but it is simpler. LRT is just like a cylindrical CPS chamber, it expands and shoots at a constant force. It works well in my 2000. Anyhow, what's broken on the fourth CPS 2000?

Re: Fav. Soaker: 2008

So far, favourite soaker is my recently repaired CPS 2000 mk.1. I mean, you can feel the power of the gun from the PC emptying in one simple shot.

Re: Hands-On: Super Soaker Quick Blast

My only problem with screw on reservoirs is that they take too long to mess around with getting them filled (esp. XXP 175, filling both reservoirs equally for equal pressurization) I would rather have a tethered cap on this gun, like the STE triple shot with a tether, since it would be effective, an...

Re: YAY I finally have a CPS 2000

Nice buy DX! Now you can colossus one pc, and replace it with LRT. You then can go and compare the two. I am too afraid to do anything more to my CPS 2000 mk1 with replaced bladder, except for maybe a few layers colossus.

Re: Hands-On: Super Soaker Quick Blast

There should be some sort of O-ring seal on the gun, however, screw on reservoirs are a waste of time. You spend all your time unscrewing, filling, screwing back in, and then you have to re pressurize the gun, before being able to shoot somebody. This gun is a big step backwards.

Re: Project: BBT to SS comparisons

The main problem (I think) is that WW guns are not as laminar as possible. If the PC was rotated 90 degrees, it would be more laminar, thus creating more force. However, with their current PC designs, they would have gravity issues, and there would be residual water in the PC after emptying it.

Re: Project: BBT to SS comparisons

The scorpion in it's own way was a fail. The motor was so loud that you could hear it from a few meters away. They might have toned blasters down for the younger audience, but I don't see why BBT has decided against spherical PCs, or does SS have a patent for it? If not, BBT should make a few guns w...

Honestly, it looks like SS has taken a step back in technology with the screw on reservoirs. What good guns have screw on reservoirs?

Of course, hot pink is the way to go. It shows intense masculinity :goofy:
It would be so much better that way, and if you modify it to turn it in to air pressure or CPS even, Then you can expand nozzles and other things like that to improve it.

Re: Project: BBT to SS comparisons

Really? WW has had trigger problems? They don't, however, use the exact same trigger system, although they do use the same type of trigger (same system of use). The MD2K is probably a bit less reliable, since it uses the Max-D trigger, but anyhow, as discussed earlier, it is not surprising to see si...

Re: Water Trap?

I hope you mean RCX.

However, that looks interesting but bound to fail. If someone finds it, they just have to push almost any of the 3 buttons on the programmable brick. Also, what happens if this thing gets wet? Welcome to short circuts.

Cool concept, but not a good idea.

I generally have the following combo in wars:
Splat Blaster+Blazer (generally normal to carry, both have straps)+Modded FF +50 oz aquapack (Needs a strap)

Maybe if I fix my 3000 by giving it a backpack, I can use 2000+3000+SPLAT BLASTER! :goofy: :soaked:
