Re: Internal pressureleak Monster X (2000)

If you know where the leak is, sand it LIGHTLY, and cover it with epoxy putty. Make sure you need the putty properly, and let it cure for at least 24 hours before pressurizing. What you want is the PUTTY, NOT the epoxy glue. It is also called plumbers putty. Read the instructions closely before usin...

Re: Latest happenings

I have to say, I think this thread is a bad idea. If I am bidding on a really good deal, I don't want people to know about it and drive the price up. This sort of thread is banned in the NIC, and I think that that is good thing. Please note, it is only the posting of Ebay auctions that I object to; ...

Re: Need an AP gun

I'm only planning on a simple PC replacement. This project was inspired by CA-99's AP piranha, though I plan on using a more readily available gun, like the lightning/sphinx. I don't want to deal with an intake tube, because most of those soakers have internal PC's, so there isn't really room for a ...

Need an AP gun

I am looking for any single PC air pressure gun, that does not use an intake tube . The PC does not need to be intact, as I intend on replacing it. The Sphinx would be great, but I can't find it online or in stores. An XP 270/70/95 would also be ideal, although they are fairly expensive these days. ...

Re: Pulse Master Problem

I just did the mod/repair, and it works great. I drilled a hole in the bottom tube and filled it with epoxy. The pump just freezes when it is full, so there is no danger of overpumping. At some point while it was opened, I must have tweaked the valve by accident, so I can now do tap shots! The press...

Re: Looking for some members knowledgable in building/modifying

I would like to help, but I don't have a lot of experience. I have been looking into building some stuff, and I have posted a lot of ideas, but I never actually got around to building them.

Which tube do I cut? The one closest to the PC, or the one closer to the top of the gun?

Re: Pulse Master Problem

Where exactly is the PRV? It isn't by the pump, like in most guns.

Re: Pulse Master Problem

I was looking back through the archives about this problem, and someone (fox?) said they had this problem with the PS, so it seems like a fairly common flaw in the line. He said he would attempt a PRV removal, but didn't say how it went. Presumably, the pump would get much harder to move without the...

Pulse Master Problem

I was so pleased with the PM I received from Isoaker, that I ordered another one off of ebay. Both the eBay PM and Isoaker's arrived NIB, with complete packaging. However, on one of them (I think its the eBay one), the PRV releases early, and you can hear the water leaking out of the PC and into the...

Re: Hands-On: Aqua Shock Sneak Attack - @ iSoaker.com

I mainly use pistons for backup, since there is almost always a shot ready to go. I would never use them as primaries, but the fact that they have a lot of shots per tank, and can be ready to fire in .5 seconds makes them quite good for backup. Small pistols can have a shot ready at any moment, but ...

Re: Hands-On: Aqua Shock Sneak Attack - @ iSoaker.com

I have one, and it is one of the best piston guns around. It can easily defeat pressurized guns of the same size, because you don't need to pump.
