Re: Spyra LX question/idea
From what I can gather in the video, the trigger goes around the pressure chamber, then links at the top to that white box, which then is linked to a pull valve. If you can remove that white box and then somehow link the grey part directly to the valve, I believe you'd wind up with a more traditiona...

Spyra LX question/idea
Long time, no soak. I've been out of the hobby for a while (as has many it seems), but finally seeing the internals of the Spyra LX in this spanish Youtube video has gotten my brain churning. It appears that the trigger mechanism is housed in that natural plastic colored housing, and is likely some ...

Re: If you could only have 3 water guns
If we're talking exclusively single boxed items: 1. Flash Flood w/ Aquapack Backpack (they were sold together on a few occasions) 2. Cps 1500 3. XP 150 (preferably one of the versions where the nozzle can screw off for a riot blast) If you can't tell, I'm a huge fan if all-rounder, generalist builds.

Re: 2018 New super soakers
The hydrozooka or whatver they're calling it seems like it's the most "ok" of the blastets Hasbro made since the Hydro Cannon. Viability is still rather low, but not as low as the other crap Hasbro's been feeding us the past decade.

Neato. Do we know which direction does what? (Ex. In = later activation, out = sooner activation or vice versa?)

Arctic blast valve screw
Has anyone figured out what the screw on the Arctic Blast's Pressure Relief Valve actually does? most guides related to disabling it just have the hole completely plugged with the screw removed, but does making the screw go in/out further change anything?

Cylindrical CPS replacement?
If I have a cylindrical CPS blaster with a ruptured bladder, what can I use to replace it? Would bike tube cut to length suffice? Not looking to increase performance, just pure replacement.
Thanks all, and soak on.

LTB: Hydroblitz
Damn, it's been a few years, huh? I'm looking to buy a Super Soaker Hydroblitz. The burst mechanism does not need to work; planning to gut that whole section out. Would like for the rest of the blaster to function, but if something other than the burst mechanism is broken, I will still consider. Pla...

Back on topic, what were the pictures originally taken with? it's really cool digging things like this up every now and again.

Re: If You Were A Video Game Character
For a water warfare game, would love to have limited thermal-vision, improved aim, and perhaps some sort of "bullet-time" power in extreme cases where everything seems to go in slow-mo while I can precisely unleash torrents of water at my stunned opponents. :goofy:  Well, you are iSoaker, aft...

I'm pretty sure I have my 2000 edition MX in storage down the road, but you said you wanted a 2002 ed. If I ever come across a 2002 ed. for cheap, consider it yours.

Actually that wasn't Isoaker that said it, it was martainshark, who originally wrote the article I stole copied the quote from. I actually need to fix thatNemesis wrote:Hehe! Another good one that Isoaker said recently, "Don't do something stupid like hook your gun up to a household socket."

don't do something really stupid like hooking up your gun to a household socket. Sig'd But seriously, what advantage is there to voltage modding a motorized water blaster? The motor will spin up faster, and...? I've voltage-modded Nerf blasters before, where the improvement is more apparent, but th...

one hing people surprisingly haven't noted is the Vanquisher PC is literally a Hydra Pak PC with a net around it. I'm not too sure that helps much, but it's there if you need it.

as a kid I loved the oozinator. something about getting people wet and then getting white goo all over them was quite satisfying. I never really got why though.

If it's during mid-late august I may be able to attend a war in NJ. I mean, it would be more convenient for me if it were in NYC, but I have some (hopefully) free time in that general time frame.

I'm pretty sure Photoshop CS6 can make GIFs, if you have a copy or the guts to make like Jack Sparrow and go to the bay to plunder.

Aside from the spelling mistake that I fixed, that pretty much hits it like a nail on the head.
