Re: HELP WITH IDEA

Basically, what I would do is use normal party balloons and do a kmod (Layering balloons to make a pressure chamber stronger) but without the base pressure chamber. Normal balloons hold tons of water and then you only have to worry about getting one plug to function properly. Then you tape it to the...

Re: Online buying and the myth of the cps 2k

Huh, guess I missed those. Should start a daily review of ebay I guess. Didn't see any cps' going for good prices whenever I looked, which is why I've been focusing on thrift stores mostly. Scored a storm 800, and a pair of 750's at a local goodwill today. Only guns that I could actually fit in my b...

Re: Online buying and the myth of the cps 2k

I've been searching ebay for around 5-6 months now, and the lowest I saw a cps 2k finish bidding was at 130. That being said, as the weather warms up there are sure to be sales and people putting their guns out, but I was just wondering if anyone had a secret source or some kind of online warehouse....

Online buying and the myth of the cps 2k

So basically I've been shopping for new blasters every time I feel like I need more power (always), and google usually returns results on ebay and the like of cps blasters with ridiculous price tags. There seems to be a notion that people will buy cps 2000's at 200, or that a beaten up one with no t...

Re: Poll, Advice please - sling or wrist slingshot

I have a standard douchenator, 3 ft pc with a 5 ft barrel, a 3 ft barrel, and a soon to be finished dual 2 ft barrel, all with threads on the connection for fast swaps. So far I haven't had a problem with leaking through the threads, but that might change as the pressure is raised. I put my valve in...

Re: Poll, Advice please - sling or wrist slingshot

I'm working on an improved sabot design idea that I had some years back, because I finally found the best way to make the cradle part. It should ensure that almost no balloons break, but the only problem is that it flies too far right now.

Re: Poll, Advice please - sling or wrist slingshot

I've tried to make bows for water balloons, but it really just isn't worth it. Even with proper elastic you get ranges that are under 100 ft, and that just isn't worth it.

What other munitions would you be picturing for WBL's, as I have no idea what a substitute, safe munition would look like.

I would be so psyched to go to this war, but the problem is I still have classes on friday and then I leave saturday on my flight back home. Basically no way to attend this time, but hopefully the next one will work out better.

Storms are always awesome, I picked up four of the Monsoon Force 4's for $3 apiece, two had mold but it washed right out.

Re: A Battlefield of Our Own

$25k is a lot to stomach now, but looking in to possible paintball fields opening their doors to water warfare is not entirely out of the question. Summer is usually ridiculously hot, and not a lot of people want to wear full gear to arenas to play, so a paintball place might be willing to make wate...

Re: Battle practicality of items such mask, laser and vest.

I actually carry water balloons in my sabots, and those are all sitting in pouches in a tac vest. Masks take half of the fun out, besides everyone else's points that they obscure vision once you get hit. Laser pointers are actually hilarious accurate if you make a sight where you can aim the laser p...

Re: My new CPS system

I made a leftovers back in the day, but my laminators were pretty good too. Thin wall plastic pipe i picked up somewhere (no idea), with the same rigidity as a normal piece of 1/4 inch abs while being less than a mm thick. Somewhere around 20 of those fit into a 2 in pvc pipe, and the space between ...

Re: "underpowered" monster line?

Not to mention the fact that these blasters had shorter shot times than some of the CPS' i have right now. Least in my experience, they dominate anything from today or the past few years but are just under par in terms of weight and output compared to the golden generation.

Re: Back in black

One thing: poking a hole in a water bottle cap and squirting it is now a better blaster than hasbro's new super soakers. The problems with their soakers don't end there. I really want to see a throwback to at least '01, when they still had a single good cps on the market and at least a knockoff of ...

Re: Your Best Buy ever

Best buy I ever made was the lot of guns i scored from a friend. So he decided that he needed more garage space, and was just going to get rid of most of his stuff. I spied a box of guns in the back, and just offered him $5 for the entire thing. He said $10, and showed me the second box. $10 gets yo...

So I don't remember exactly how many of you transferred over from SSC (I recognize a few usernames), but seeing as it's been a while and a new season is starting up I thought I would drop by again.

Good to be back in action :cps2000:
