Re: Nozzles: Active versus permutations
It would be a valid addition but I don't think it's necessary...I've never thought about it as I've always just looked at pictures or checked the review for nozzle information, where it's covered well. I'd say that most people would be the same as me, so if it's a lot of work then probably not worth...

Re: Look Alike Arctic Shock
I didn't word that sentence very well, sorry....What I meant was that comparing the internals of the two guns, the Arctic Shock looks superior in that it has a larger reservoir, separate pressure chamber, etc (since it at least makes use of the casing given) Of course, given that the Arctic Shock ha...

Re: Water Warriors Equalizer
I can attest that the Equalizer has a strong stream...Mine shoots at a good range (at least 35 feet) with no break-up, and the shot time is excellent (a good 5 or so seconds at max range before drop-off starts, from memory). The trigger is also lovely and smooth and the handle is really comfortable ...

Re: Super Soaker Vaporizer
Ergonomically it's good and for a piston blaster it does the job well, but the Shark has a comparable stream, a pump that's easier to use and is much cheaper. Even so, I'll still give it a Yay as it's the best basic piston soaker by Hasbro I've used (better than the Quick Blast/Bottle Shot). It also...

Re: Water Warriors Equalizer
I wouldn't put the Equalizer in the same category as a Max-D 300 personally; the 3000 is a pistol sized sidearm whilst the Equalizer makes a fine secondary weapon (or even light primary depending on the situation). While they both have the same output, I'd pick the Equalizer over the 3000 any day be...

Re: Concept: Monster RL
Not everything has to be strictly practical CA, as martian said it's just a fun design....Sure, if he'd posted this as an idea for a homemade soaker then such criticism is justified but as isoaker has already said. this is simply a section for concepts and dreams, irrespective of how impractical the...

Re: Water Warriors Sting Ray
The handle is still very comfortable and ergonomic, it's actually useful that the cap is part of the handle as it means the pistol has a shorter profile, making it much easier to fill up in sinks (in comparison to something like an XP 20 where the reservoir opening is in a really inconvenient positi...

Re: Water Warriors Sting Ray
Use a file to rub off the two plastic nubs on the cap, that'll let you screw the cap on tighter and possibly improve performance a bit (I didn't really notice much of a performance increase with mine but it's nice to be able to screw the cap on properly)

Re: Water Warriors Vanquisher
I think you did the right thing in drilling out the nozzle, an 8.5x nozzle is much better than an abysmal fan blast (even if the 8.5x shoots 30ft, which isn't too bad anyway). What range do you personally get with the 3x martian? I wonder what the maximum output you could get with the Vanquisher wou...

Re: 2010 Water Gun/Water Blaster Predictions
I do indeed...I forsee you blinking a lot today. My predictions were fairly accurate, yay! BBT has done better than expected this year (Vanquisher/Pulse Force/recolourings), and Hasbro has done as expected (which in itself is bad). I hope Vanquishers make their way over to New Zealand (though we don...

Re: Hands-On: Super Soaker Soaker Wars Hydro Fury
They sound bigger than expected; I assumed they'd be the same size as the 215. Depending on their performance and whether they leak or not, they may be the best new blasters released by Hasbro this year! It certainly wouldn't be too hard to beat the rest of the Soaker Wars line

Re: Advice on a good sidearm
If you want a decent sidearm, get a WW Pulse Blaster mk 2 (the model that doesn't have three holes in the trigger piece). It's versatile and easy to attach a strap to. If you want something smaller, a WW Barracuda is a good choice. If you want something smaller still, go for a Sting Ray (similar pow...

Re: Water Warriors Steady Stream
Definitely, I was just using a forest as an example of a common location for a serious war. I think the term "serious" is also dependent on the people you are playing with; for example, the water fight I am organising for December will likely be a hit-based game like CTF, but none of the people play...

Re: Water Warriors Steady Stream
I'd probably agree with you on that C-A_99, but when I said it would make for a good secondary/backup I was referring to (at least in my own head) casual urban water fights where one would need all of their soakers in a readily accessible position (i.e on straps, one on either side or one across the...

Re: Water Warriors Steady Stream
Innovative and able to keep up with lower end air pressure soakers. Worth the purchase simply to encourage Buzz Bee to continue its ventures into new and useful technology, plus an excellent secondary/backup soaker, one of the best in my opinion due to the lack of trigger meaning it doesn't require ...

Re: Water Warriors Orca
Though not as impressive as the larger 2009 WW soakers (Vindicator/Pulse Master), the Orca is still great. I have the 2008 version, which sports a superior colour scheme (in my opinion at least) to the 2007 version as well as the crucial relocation of the reservoir cap to the top of the reservoir. W...
