Re: Super Soaker SS200

This is the Monster XL of it's time. A legendary beast. One of the best looking soakers of all time in my opinion. I've never had the privilege to hold it in my hands, but others say that is is very fragile and it's performance is low in comparison of the XP's and CPS classes. So, consider this to b...

Re: Super Soaker SS100

Not a recommended product. It is quite fragile. Pumping puts stress on the white main barrel. After a few months of usage it may just crack off.
Too bad, because the SS100 has one of the best looks for the first generation line of soakers.

Re: Want better water blasters? Wish here!

I would love to see the return of the Super Soaker Monster X because I love its looks, and colour setting. This is the most impressive blaster ever imo. I also would like to see a big, high-end air pressure blaster, with a big water tank and two big pressure chambers. It should be build to last, hav...

Re: Your Armory

I just started 'collecting' last week. My current 'arsenal' is: XP: Super Soaker XP 240 Okay for a smaller blaster, it feels durable but because some parts are glued it is hard to repair when it would ever break. Not all water of the pressurized reservoir can be used. Super Soaker XP 310 Just repair...

Re: Water Gun Names

Nope, I would never do it. Writing things on them or painting them is likely to make the gun lose its value, unless you're a skilled artist.

I leave the colouring to the designers.

XP310 cracked tube spraying water

Click for image I got me a 2nd hand XP 310 which is leaking from a tiny crack in the tube to the pressure indicator. Click above link for a photo. The crack is located between the two tubes so it is hardly reachable. Also, the crack is very tiny, small streams of water spray from it. It is most lik...

"Encumbrance"

What does this key terminology mean exactly in the ISoaker water blaster reviews? I'm not native to the English language and Wikipedia does not help much either in this case.

Re: Opening CPS 1700

The result for now: I took out every screw and was able to slightly bent open the housing of the soaker with the nozzle selector still firmly attached. (glued) This at least allowed me to lubricate the movable parts of the trigger area. To not damage the gun I closed it again afterwards. I haven't b...

Re: Opening CPS 1700

I don't really think the trigger itself is cracked or broken. The trigger only takes a bit much pressure to activate when the gun is fully pressurized. And there is no way to press it gently to put out a smaller stream of water. But this may be a design limitation. (This is the first CPS gun I have ...

Opening CPS 1700

I recently bought a second-hand SS CPS 1700 and I wondered if it can be opened without damage. The trigger is not moving easily when pressurized and I want to see if some (silicone) grease to the mechanism may work. I already looked quite a bit for guides how to open the soaker including this one an...
