Re: Lanard The Blaster
I have one of these, and it performs quite well. The streams it puts out are thick and cohesive, and the distance is respectable. The problem I have with it is the build quality. The pump leaks water badly, and there is a spray of water from the cap with every pump. I may have gotten a bad one but o...

Re: 2011: Good or Bad?
The HC seems like it is just so much work to bring it up to any decent standards. It only has a 6oz PC, which is just pitiful for a CPS gun. That is the deal breaker for me, since if I go to the trouble to expand the PC, add a backpack for capacity, and build a laminator, it would be easier to just...

Re: Water Warriors Vanquisher
I picked one of these up from Target tonight and am sorely disappointed. Despite the claims of an elastic pressure chamber I can almost confirm that it in fact uses nothing more than a separate pressure chamber. I can see water fill the front chamber and slosh around, and to add insult to injury my ...

Re: Hands-On: Water Warriors Power Shots
Thats definitely an interesting concept. I don't really think I'd pick one of these over say, an xp215 but it's not bad for what is essentially a squirt pistol and not a soaker. Buzz Bee is honestly impressing me with all their new models this year.

Re: Cps 2700 trigger valve and nozzle pictures.
Well it turns out the deadly pressure leak was the easiest fix of all. I had a tiny little hairline crack down the front of the valve, now permenantly sealed with plumbers goop. Now that it's fixed, a new problem has arisen: the nozzle valve refuses to close itself again during firing, and the trigg...

Cps 2700 trigger valve and nozzle pictures.
Here's a few images for you guys. I opened up the broken cps 2700 I got for $5 and this is what I found. There's no cracks or anything, and the trigger plate seals just fine, if a little weakly. I suspect the leaking might be the connection between the pc and the trigger valve because one of the o-r...

3 CPS 3200's For Sale
Ok... I've got three Cps 3200's that I don't find myself using all that much. I find that I prefer the smaller weaponry in my arsenal. Here's a little bit more about the merchandise: Blaster 1: Good external shape, includes all straps besides the one for the blaster, all stickers present. There's a ...

Re: 2009 Water Warriors Pulse Series
I just sent a short email to their customer service dept raving about their better blasters. I figure that customer feedback is a good thing and putting in my $0.02 can only help them better assess the market. Here's what I sent: I'm just taking a moment to thank your company for providing some trul...

Buying some Parts
I'm looking for some pretty specific parts, that is, the nozzle selector for a Monster XL (including the little parts like the spring, screw, and o-ring) I know it's not at all likely to get these parts, but perhaps someone out there has got a broken XL that they'd be willing to part out. I figured ...

Re: Help needed to ID please
That would be one of the many motorized water pistols Larami made in the 1980's. They pop up on Ebay every so often, simply search for "Larami uzi" or something like that. Edit: Did they look something like this? This seller also had the orange uzi's but now he only seems to have these: http://cgi.e...

Re: My APH finished... FINALLY!!!
Hey Steel_Boot, if you want to mod a 2500 my suggestion is to make a nozzle laminator out of cocktail stirrers like I did. The boost in range and accuracy is fantastic. Just be sure to open up your valve via the screws, take out your straws, cut the stirrers to the same length, and put them in. Also...

Re: Help Me Out!
My thoughts exactly. I didn't know how to remove the cap over the nozzle selector, as it was firmly glued in place. And the sticky valve felt a little bit like rust or corrosion had built up on the trigger pin and was preventing movement. But like I said, I've decided to send them back because I'm n...

Re: Help Me Out!
I've sent a message to the seller about the blasters asking for him to take them back. The 1500 I didn't plan on keeping because of how difficult it would have been to open. I just got another one off ebay for the same price, and it included a free cps 3000. So that makes me very happy. The thing wi...

Help Me Out!
I need some help making a decision. I just got two blasters I bought off of Ebay, a CPS 1500 and a CPS 3200. Here's the problem: both have a number of defects. The cps 1500 is the most serious. The trigger freqently sticks in the open position, and although it doesn't lose pressure,I can hear a hiss...

Re: Cps 2500, extremely poor lamination.
New developments: my 2500 isn't working right again. I don't know if it's the laminator or the nozzle selector, but it's leaking like crazy during the shots, and the 20x has taken on the appearance of a fan blast. This is a big difference from before, where the 20x stream was so laminated I was afra...

Re: Cps 2500, extremely poor lamination.
Don't worry, I'll get pictures as soon as the goop is dried. I had to apply another layer on the trigger valve since my testing popped the initial coat (I wanted to be sure everything worked before it set rock solid) so it'll be around Tuesday.

Re: Cps 2500, extremely poor lamination.
It sure did! It's the best adhesive I know of for pressure application. Anyways, I'm getting incredible results with these smaller laminators. Preliminary testing is showing incredible lamination, with or without a nozzle! All 3 stream sizes come out laser-straight, especially the 20x, which after l...

Re: Cps 2500, extremely poor lamination.
Major update: the nozzle laminator and leaks in the trigger valve have been (presumably) fixed! The Plumber's Goop has to sit overnight but it should work barring some unforseen disaster. I took pictures of my repair/mod and will post them when I can find a usb cable (I knew I shoulda just used my c...
