Battle at the River
Some of my best fights have been under less than ideal circumstances. This was one of those fights. I'm in Kentucky for the next two weeks and decided to reach out to theoncomingstorm about getting together over the weekend. We picked out the great saltpeter cave as a point of meetup. So, naturally ...

Re: Canal Battle
You mean your car? That sucks, what's wrong with it? Looks like this weekend is just poor timing all around. But that's okay, we can figure something out for later. The parks will all be better then anyway. I was thinking about hosting a pool party this summer, which you'd be invited to. Might be f...

Elk knob is a really cool place. It's also the opposite direction. Regardless, I won't be able to make it anywhere. My is completely broken down and will be for quite some time. I would still like to get together with everyone, but it will have to be later.

Re: Canal Battle
Storm, that's crazy.. I hope you feel better soon. But if Marauder still wants to come visit, we could do something else as well. A couple friends are organizing a hiking trip that weekend, which automatically gives us something fun to do. Or we could scout somewhere. Where are yall going hiking? Go...

Re: Storms Duelfest’s
Ran some more stuff today Beast vs CPS 2500 5-6 Beast at long range acts like a defensive gun and the 2500 more offensive. This fight reminds me a lot the battle between my 300 and CPS 2000. The 275 puts a wall of water up and makes it difficult to move in closer, but the 2500 is slightly better at...

Wow, that is a new idea. So, it is easier to pump? Not that that's really an issue for us here.

Re: Canal Battle
This sounds fun and I miss water wars, but it's not the right time for me. The pandemic is still raging up here and after several exposure scares with negative tests, I am strictly limiting exposure to a handful of careful friends of which I know their daily habits/where they go/who they also inter...

Thanks for checking it out SEAL. It looks like we could have fun and film something cool, but definitely not one of the better locations we have had. If you are willing to drive further, consider Goodale State Park. I have been there several times and it's more typical waterwar terrain. The trails h...

Re: Canal Battle
Has it really been 3 years? When was the last battle most of us went to? 2018 or 2019? I moved recently and while unboxing I made a new box full of camo and gear. If anyone needs anything let me know, I have all sorts of sizes. I'll be testing my guns out soon. Attendance looks to be good. Oh, and I...

Re: Storms Duelfest’s
Guys, we need to get together again. Reading this makes me feel all happy inside. That 750 battle confirms what I've wondered for a long time now. I need to fix mine. The stream is soooooo smooth, and it shockingly doesn't mist all that easily. The Collosus 2 probably outranges it by a solid 5-8 fee...

Well, 2020 keeps getting weirder. At least it's bringing some attention on social media about real waterguns.

Re: Just when I thought I'd seen it all. Toilet Paper Blasters.
Rubber band guns were super popular in Cambridge Assassins back in the day. Probably still are. I had a sweet double-barrelled one but it never worked properly, and a more ordinary pistol which did work well. My cousins had rubber band guns. I remember that they looked so cool. The advantage of rub...

I like those choices CDMT Personally I think mine have changed a bit since I made this list. XP 150 A solid light primary able to hold its own against 1200’s if you are careful. Good for mid range defensive and close quarters fighting. XXP 275 Dark horse I know but I discovered that by running it o...

Wow, isoaker doesn't even have a review yet. This is probably a pinch valve like the original SS 20. Pinch valve blasters often dribble water out of the nozzle when overpressurized. The new pump grip is yuuuge. Looks like it could still be a bit of fun. Thanks for posting Cantab. https://hydrowar.wo...

That's hilarious. I'm sure 3rd graders everywhere are rejoicing at this. Looks like they liberally took aesthetic ques from Nerf.

Re: Time-to-target
It would be fun to just measure several blasters and see how much of a variance there actually is. We won't be able to know unless we try.
As far as time to target, wouldn't you be able to measure that using a camera with a very high frame rate?
