Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
My latest soaker is not really a Super Soaker, but a novelty. I received a New In Box Super Soaker Wing Thing a few days ago I got off eBay which due to rarity it is staying like that. It is a different colour to the one on the site and the box also says it flies 500 feet unlike the 1000 feet on iSo...

Re: Public Garden Trashed During Water War
Considering where it was held, I don't see how it was organised well at all. That place in Leeds is a good attraction, and having a water fight there right in public eye with loads of people to me seems stupid, and since it is a pretty cramped area from the pictures that was just asking for it. I ac...

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
Hurray, finally my armoury is pretty much sorted, with the right soakers coming in. I will be receiving the following within the next week or two. CPS 1500 (2) - One already received. CPS 3000 (3) And because of all those, I'm pretty much low on cash at the moment. However, as much as I have coming ...

Re: The Definitive Aqua Flash Clearout
Everything mentioned (NIB Splashzooka, CPS 2100 and 2500) is still there. My final addition to the list now includes my modified CPS 1700. Has 5 different nozzle settings and has 10 balloons over the chamber. Works well, however the white cosmetic piece at the front is cracking, I'm sure you could r...

Re: The Definitive Aqua Flash Clearout
If you aren't interested in buying/trading for anything mentioned then don't post.
Also, stop persistantly annoying and bugging me about the contest and the prize and get over it. I'm not holding it again.

Re: Latest Soaker - ^
I received a CPS 1500 in the post today, it is now my fourth one. However again, another repair job. The seller didn't tell me its valve was worn squirting water with every pump. I opened up the valve (thankfully it is screwed together) and have cleaned out the bits of rust with hot water and also a...

Re: The Definitive Aqua Flash Clearout
Just to update, probably the last update I'll make to this thread unless interest is shown, only the NIB soakers are left up for trade(preferably)/sale. These include the Splashzooka, 2100 and 2500 http://www.mynetimages.com/7f648a9c_th.jpg http://www.mynetimages.com/1cce4d1c_th.jpg http://www.mynet...

Re: The Definitive Aqua Flash Clearout
Just in case if interest does occur, I also have a complete and boxed SC Power Pak up for sale/trade as well now. I'll be putting them up on eBay in a month or two if no interest.

Re: The Definitive Aqua Flash Clearout
The shipping would be a lot, so I doubt I'd get interest. I'll leave this topic open, but unless I get a serious offer tradewise preferably or even cash wise (with shipping understand and accounted for and all), I'll probably be putting them on eBay. I guess I can always hope though in between that ...

Re: Want to Trade: 2000-01 Monster XL
I also now have a CPS 2500 up for trade preferably. I was going to colossus it, but since I don't really plan to keep it since I just prefer soakers like the CPS 1500 .etc I will just wait and colusses a soaker I plan to keep. It has been opened up, with the plastic piece at the end of the plastic t...

Re: Latest Soaker - ^
Today I received a CPS 2500 that I need to do some work on. I need to file out and smoothen the pump because of the friction it has caused. I also need to replace the o ring to create a better seal for the nozzle selector. Finally, I am half way through doing a colossus modification on it, just need...

Re: Stock Blaster Styling: 2008 brainstorming
This is one of the reasons why I also don't like the new Hasbro soakers. However I'm going to stick to talking about design and not performance like mentioned. I really hate their Nerf (N Strike whatever it is and such) styling on their blasters personally. It shows no sense of originality/uniquenes...

Re: CPS 1700 Touch Up
With the help of my Dad, it is done. http://www.mynetimages.com/51ff3be5_th.jpg I used a salvaged CPS 1000 pump handle (guide coming soon), so for now (until I reinforce the pump more) I have a comfortable fully done pump with a handle. I also felt (even my Dad did), that with the orange nozzle piec...

CPS 1700 Touch Up
I received a CPS 1700 that needed some work. The pump was nearly gone with the end of it stuck in the tube. I got that out out and used the rubber on a new pump I had to get a good fit (sorry I did get any pictures for that). Then after testing, the streams weren't that great in terms of looking cle...

Re: Latest Soaker - ^
My overall experience with the CPS 1700 (owned quite afew before, and own quite a few now hehe come to think of it), is that the ones I've had have been a bit less powerful than my CPS 1500's. Although I'm not really bothered, as essentially it is the same gun, and its not hard to give the 1700 a sm...

Re: 2008: Year of the Pump Action Water Blaster
Not sure if this si the right place to post this, but it looks like Hasbro have also done yet another Max D 6000 recolour this year, looks kinda icy looking: http://cgi.ebay.com/SUPER-SOAKER-MAX-D-6000-Huge-Water-Gun-Toy-Large-NEW_W0QQitemZ120229195108QQihZ002QQcategoryZ11745QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1Q...

Re: Latest Soaker - ^
Today received a CPS 1700 that had no pump (already knew this, seller made it clear). Good thing I had some spares, but today I've spent a while sorting this gun out. When I pumped it, there was lagging and it was acting strange. So I opened it, saw nothing was wrong, and stupidly saw afterwards it ...

Re: Want to Trade: 2000-01 Monster XL
I'm afraid to say, but I've done some more thinking and have decided to keep the Splashzooka. Very sorry. It might not be useful to me at the moment, but I feel that for the long term it could be handy one day, even though I said it won't, I just get the feeling that if I sold it then I'd live to re...
