I named one of my XP-270's "Phil Collins."
Nobody ever said anything I did had to make sense.

Re: SS50 2009 remake
Just because it was mentioned on the previous page, I saw one of the "new" XP-70's at Zellers the other day on sale for 8 bucks, so I picked one up for old time's sake, it being my second Super Soaker. I noticed this on the back of the box: http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j30/battlecowdairymilk/DS...

It's not worth it, I found that the hose connector leaked far too much to make it useful in any real capacity.
Also, in my day trolls were a lot funnier.

Re: I bought a GLOW IN THE DARK XP 105!
I remember seeing commercials for glow in the dark 105's back in the day, or I might just be misremembering something else. I bet they look really sweet under a black light or LED string.

Have you considered going to the local media with this? A "Cops harass kids playing with water guns" story might be enough to get them to back off.

It would be really nice if this is legit, my original 70 died many many years ago.

Transparent reservoirs. We need those back, thick, transparent plastic reservoirs. How much water do I have left? Do you know? I don't know! Wait, my tank is see-through! Now I know, and I'm going to use what's left to kick some ass! Big. Bigger. Biggest blasters possible. Big, CPS powered frak-off ...

Holy crap, there's a screen name I haven't seen in years. Good to see you around, XN! I'd be up for a chat, but I don't have yahoo messenger installed anymore. What does everyone use these days anyway? I'm a Windows Live Messenger dude, myself.

Re: SS50 2009 remake
I'm a little saddened they molded the new Super Soaker logo into the plastic, but seeing the old logo on the equally retro looking box erased any unhappy thoughts. I'll be picking two of these up; one to use and one to go on the wall. Also, comparing the new one to the original, I think this is an a...

Re: 2009 Water Warriors Pulse Series
Ahh, once again science dashes my hopes for a brighter future with it's cold, unfeeling logic. Is there really much that can be done to boost performance outside of CPS type pressure chambers?

Re: 2009 Water Warriors Pulse Series
Looking at these blasters, I'm getting a pretty big "Assault Rifle from Halo" vibe. Overall they look great, and the spring-loaded pressure chamber seems like a neat way to sort of find a middle point between conventional PC's and CPS tech. One thing I think would make them perfect is if the reservo...

Water Warriors Krypton - Thoughts
I picked up the Krypton today, and I must say I'm pleased. Overall it's a very comfortable blaster to hold; the strap seems a bit short, but the trigger grip is nice and big! I love being able to fit my whole hand around it and get a solid hold on the blaster. The Krypton's got a kind of second gri...

" However, I'd not recommend setting that number as a max since, due to variability in the manufacturing process, if your average soaker is at max allowable power, that then means that there will be some made beyond max allowable power, thus opening the room for a potential successful lawsuit. If a...
