Bringing back a few old ideas here. Backpacks are a good start on the road here, but I would like to see more SC charging in the future. Interchangeable tanks was also a lot of fun. What about some more guns that can automatically pressurize the water? That would be great (battery operated). In acc...

Yeah, but be very careful when closing the clamp. Just a tad bit too much and the trigger will come apart from the force of the clamp's sides. Ill run out tomorrow or something and grab a clamp at home depot. Ill do my best to make sure the trigger goes back together cleanly (Ill pick up epoxy whil...

Welcome Back, and Congrats on finally finding a war! I would use more than just gorilla glue to be safe. Epoxy and PVC cement work, as long as there are multiple coats and/or enough epoxy. To make sure the parts are totally straight, as soon as you apply the glue, hold the parts in place for about ...

I just got back into another fight (2 long years!) and we had a CPS 4100 snap on us (My fault I didn't reinforce it). I have the same problem, the trigger snapped exactly where Duxburian said it did. Will Gorilla Glue work? Also, how can I get it so when the two parts are glued back together, they ...

When I said earlier that I was putting soakers down for a while, I meant a good 10-15 years or so of very little activity. Here is what I have done to preserve them for their very long sleep: 1.) I left triggers out and not clamped in as to not put stress on the springs or triggers for this very lo...

Please provide a picture of the trigger itself and that area. Otherwise i can classify the problem as several things: 1.) The plastic around the loop where the rod goes in (closest to the trigger) snapped. 2.) The trigger was ripped off the base. Provide a pic of that and i can give you a few solut...

Misconception: SuperSoakers are for Kids. Truth: Half right, the Monster series and larger CPS's were designed for older kids. Misconception: Water Warfare is for losers with no life and a nack for wasting time, they should be shunned from society. Truth: A HUGE one with Americans today is that if ...

I've had my 2500 since last summer, which actually isn't that long when you think about it. [I think Iceman's 2500 lasted for 8 years] ??? 8 years, give or take a little with proper care and maintinence. The CPS 2500 is truly one of the pinnacle blasters of all water guns. On the battlefield this w...

1.) Aqua Pak- I am interested in seeing how this gun handles on the battlefield, how many we could use, etc. This gun with about a 200oz. Backpack should prove well, I would love to test this one out, I will keep an eye out for it. 2.) CPS Flash Flood- I am interested also in seeing how this blaste...

Perhaps it'd put the pressure on Hasbro (if they care, of course) to start listening to us or at least take greater measures to make better soakers. I'd say the 2005 lineup shows they've been listening to us. Couldn't agree with you more M4. As I have said all along since the beginning of 2005, Has...

Welcome to the boards locazor! :) There really is no place on the internet, save ebay, other trade sites, and Soakerdom forums that you can get high quality CPS weapons. However if you post in the repairs section of SSCentral we can help you out on repairing your old 2500, because they kick butt. R...

Here is a quote from a reply to my thead over on the MythBuster Forums. I think the powers that be would have tested this product, as they test many. Instead of like a helmet, where they test the protection factor, they'd test it in terms of threat factor. If it exceeded a certain "dangerous" PSI, ...

I enjoyed the review too, regardless on what I think about the blaster. The Devastator is definatly promising and a major improvement, but there are a few flaws in the design. There is only 1 nozzle choice, plus there is lag when pumping, since the PC is inside the backpack, that could have been so...

Armor in a way defeats the purpose of water warfare: to go get wet! If it was armour for an encampment, walls, places that cannot get wet, etc then that's fine. However trash bags and ponchos trap in moisture as well as prevent it thus, chafing, and that is NOT fun.

Along with Soakerdom, I think that Super Soakers as a whole isn't as big of a brand name as it used to be. Regardless this year's lineup should be a hit.

Definatly, and since you can dual wield them even if you don't have terrific upper body strength... Dual Wielding 2 CPS 1000's and 2 CPS 1200's isn't really that hard at all. Not to say that it won't weigh you down, just that it's really not all that hard. I still want to get a 2005 blaster or 2 to...
