My problem this season is participation, not equipment. Even some of the people who were really into water wars last year are, at best, lukewarm about the topic this year. On the good side, I too have found a perfect battlefield for my wars. It is a creek with many sandy banks and the potential to ...

@ Duxburian: Be very careful when inviting inexperienced players to a war. A 10 v 10 battle sounds amazing, but it will come at the cost of people who do not truly know what a water war is. I made the mistake of passing out 60+ water war flyers at the end of my sophomore year in high school. My pla...

That's true, the range on this "strange new weapon" is pathetic compared to what paintballers are used to... but heck its an improvement. I guess the best thing about this new gun is the fact that it's concept is more mainstream than the stuff Hasbro has been coming out with. For someone who has be...

Honestly, the safety problems with this new type of weapon don't really bother me. I usually wear airsoft safety goggles on the field because headshots are pretty common in my wars. A painball-style projectile actually seems like the type of thing water wars have been lacking for so long. A weapon ...

If the Hydrblitz can hold 100 oz by itself, then a Max Infusion backpack could bring this capacity up to 200oz, which is pretty good. I'm usually a pessimist when it comes to new Hasbro guns, but this batch of weaponry, although not very impressive, seems to be a positive trend in water blaster qua...

So, I went to measure my wbl and find the vol. and length of the barrel and PC. This happened: [IMG]http://images4.pictiger.com/thumbs....MG] So now, it will be probably another week before I can peform any tests. Anyway, here are the dimentions: Length of barrel: 24.5 inches Length of PC: 33.25 in...

I finally found enough time to record a few stats for my launcher. Unfortunately, the battery on my inflator went low after the first shot (I haven't recharged it in ages), so I only have one set of data. I will add more soon on this thread, as soon as my inflator is recharged. Trial 1: Firing Angl...

Silet Guy is right. The pressurized air in the PC gets out WAY too fast to be effectively controlled. The original model of my WBL actually had a pressure gauge built in to the actual PC (the original model had a smaller PC also). I thought I could keep track of how much pressure I have stored (lik...

The ball valve is 1.25 inches wide. Yea, I don't think its able to take full advantage of the air I have stored in there.I still haven't had time to come up with precise stats on the amout of time it takes me to pressureize it. Hopefully, I'll be able to test the inflator at some point in the near ...

So now I'm wondering...can you set a max pressure for the inflator, as if there was an air pressure regulator but without a section that has really high stored pressure? In other words, can you make sure the pressure in the PC is set (at least a max--it would take time to maintain the pressure), al...

The battery on the inflator is a sealed lead battery, so it takes a while to charge, but is has a pretty good lifetime. I can load the PC to about 80 psi 8 or more times without any battery problems. The real issue that I have with it is that pressurizing takes around 4 minutes (I have never timed ...
