Re: Nozzle Selector?

My major problem is I get super conceptual and wind up not building anything... Mostly due to money constraints. I've got a half-assed build of a prototype pull valve that I'm working on, no springs, holes aren't perfectly sized, no in/out securing method yet, all that stuff. It's going to be annoyi...

Re: Nozzle Selector?

Even if you have a good way of storing interchangeable nozzles on current homemades, time is still lost in the unscrewing and screwing in of the old nozzle. With the alternative we are thinking of, one could have a 5x, 10x, 20x, 30x, Fan (Or something else if you want, maybe Typhoon :goofy:), and Ri...

Nozzle Selector?

So this may seem really random, but I was just lurking an old thread on SSC (The JLSpaceMarine Custom Assault Rifle to be exact starting Post 27), and somewhere Drenchenator mentioned making a nozzle selector, and I never actually saw one brought to the homemade community. Quickly pondering the idea...

Prying it may require sawing it in two, just a warning. But who cares about how it looks, its a powerful gun.

Re: CPH help please

If it's Mk2, all you need to do is pry off the orange cover at the front, and the rest is just remove screws. The cover is lost but it still performs the same.

Re: Possible Homemade revamp of the Classic Trigger

I might just buy some threaded parts or see what I have lying around and try to crudely hash together a prototype when I next encounter mr. dude, as him and I would have probably a better chance of creating a device with proper quality and such (I tend to be the cut twice measure once kind, wonder i...

Re: Possible Homemade revamp of the Classic Trigger

The reason I stated that it was not the best design for flow, is because no pull valve design offers the best flow. Ball valves offer one of the best designs for flow, as there is no (well, OK, very little) interruption in the pipe diameter or direction, if the correct valve is used. If this check ...

Re: Possible Homemade revamp of the Classic Trigger

Seeing your picture Croc, That washer idea is clever, but you still have to seal against the pin. That part is always going to be a pain- small holes that need to let something to slide seem very difficult to seal properly, especially under pressure. The washer would be slightly too small for the s...

Re: Possible Homemade revamp of the Classic Trigger

I was also considering figuring out the pressure that makes the SS PRVs work, as it would help to prevent bladder bursting issues, and could be tuned to different situations. I was under the impression that their release pressures differed over a variety of blaster models and marks. You can buy adj...

Re: Possible Homemade revamp of the Classic Trigger

Yes, I do recall the linear valve, I was there while the prototype threads were everywhere :goofy: . It was an interesting design, but to get a decent flow the T would have to be massive. The hole had to not reduce the integrity of the pipe (5/8 could only really safely go to 7/16" on 1/2" PVC (OD 5...

Possible Homemade revamp of the Classic Trigger

Hey guys, I was just thinking, what if it were possible to remake the trigger system from say... a CPS xxxx series blaster out of PVC? For example, using a 2.5 or 3 inch endcap, and drilling holes and using springs as needed? I just got thinking of it as I was looking at my CPS 2000 in a state of di...

Re: The Max D System Must Die

I basically put a newspaper elastic around the areas where the spring used to be, and it still clicks into place, still clicks shut, and I've had it for about a year now. Otherwise, just remove the system, and with something like the FF, put rubber bands to hold the nozzle shut unless you are pullin...

Re: The Max D System Must Die

You guys do realize that there is a very fast and easy fix to the max-D trigger, right? All you need to do is put an elastic where the spring used to be, and voila! Now you have a Max-D Trigger that will only die when the elastic out stretches itself (by experience, it's gonna last you a long time)....

Re: Preferred Water Gun Size?

I think the "Large" size category is the better one (looks like somebody agrees with me :goofy: )

It is a good size, and does not effect mobility too much, yet can still pack a punch. Most guns I own are in this category anyways.

Oh, wait a minute! On eBay, are you searching for international sellers, and are you doing your search in german? Try eBay.de - ing wasserpistole, literally, water gun. Here, I tried it, and I dont speak German!: Search for wasserpistole There's a CPS 1500 on it right now (NIB, and the real thing), ...

The thing you need is a small magnetic surface. It would let you extract the nail without much difficulty.

Honestly though, you're :soaked: no matter what with that gun :goofy:
