Re: Vice President Biden Hosts Water War

Y'know, I ain't a fan of his by any stretch, but I'll give credit where credit is due. That's pretty dang cool. I'd participate.

Water Warriors Product Placement

http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/blood-price-tanya-huff/1100319739?ean=9780756405014&itm=14&usri=huff I don't know how many times I've passed this book at work and thought "I should post this here." So I finally am. Apparently, Water Warriors water guns are the preferred weapon for hunting the super...

Re: 2012 Nerf Super Soaker Models

Rip the electronics out of that Lightning Storm and replace it with a good ol' fashioned pump and trigger system, you'd at least have some innovation as opposed to a gimmick. But no, they've gotta throw lights and and pretty flashing colors onto something that would've probably sucked...but would've...

Re: 2011 Super Soakers

Back at Walmart today...New Bandit, New Renegade, and New Explorer (or something like that). Explorer is the largest, the Renegade, then Bandit. Bandit's about pistol sized, Renegade's not quite mid-range, Explorer strikes me as a good sized standard-duty soaker. Nothing too heavy, but capable of ho...

Re: 2011 Super Soakers

Walmart has the Water Warriors Gorgon and New Explorer (or something like that). Scifi bullpup styling. No pics, but it looks like they're doing their usual good job.

Re: Super Soaker XP220

Of the 2 I had experience with, one broke beyond repair rather quickly, and the other needed repairing. The full-grip trigger also lent itself to negligent discharges. Other than that, nice little soakers.

Re: Want better water blasters? Wish here!

I wonder if it would be possible to pre-pressurize metal canisters of water, with some sort of seal or valve on the top that could be swapped in and out of soakers. Sort of an advanced version of that new one that uses a drinking water bottle. It would free up the designs from the need of a pump and...

Re: Advice on a good sidearm

The best sidearm sized blaster is the old Storm 750. There has been no better pistol both in form or function. You can beat it up, mistreat it, and not only will it still perform like it did when it was new, it'll look good doing it. You can probably find them on ebay. Otherwise, Kmart has been know...

In the words of the internet, pics or it didn't happen!

Sounds awesome. Looking forward to seeing pics and reading further reviews. Glad to hear that BBT is continuing to bring their A game.

Re: 2010 Water Gun/Water Blaster Predictions

Hasbro:
~2-3 piston soakers
~2-3 pistol sized soakers
~1 CPS1000 (or slightly smaller) sized soaker, airpressure or CPS, it's a toss-up
BBT:
~Continued innovation and quality products
~Continued to increase market domination over Hasbro

I'd like to see that. Just the intake tube alone would be an improvement over traditional soakers.

Nice photoshop. I had to look at it a couple of times to make sure it wasn't real.

Re: Your Main, Favourite, Most Trusted Soaker

There are a handful. CPS 2500: I used these a handful of times. Loved the soaker more every time I got to use it. Power, range, man that thing had it all. CPS 2700mk1: Power power power. All in an aesthetically pleasing package. SC 600: It just kept shooting and shooting and shooting. Maybe I got a ...

Re: CPS 2000 vs MXL, which is deadliest?

I think in my hands at least, a CPS 2000 would be "deadliest." Easier for me to manuever, better range, just feels right in my hands.

The "deadliest" soaker is the one that YOU use best.

Re: The Max D System Must Die

Instead of those horribly heavy Max-D triggers that seem to "break" early in the pull, how about reversing that? A trigger with some slack that "breaks" at the end. That'd contribute to accuracy and I think would be much the same to engineer as the current system.

I prefer to think in terms of soaker "classes." Here's my ideal team armament. ~Everyone is issued a pistol, no exceptions. Storm guns only, no exceptions. 750 sized or above. ~Everyone is issued a rifle or shotgun style soaker. Individual user gets to pick between the two. ~~If the terrain is heavi...

Re: Hands-On: Water Warriors Pulse Master

This sounds like a great blaster. Buzz Bee is really bringing its "A" game. And from what I've seen, they're positively trouncing Super Soaker in the amount of product that reaches shelves. Glad to see there's a manufacturer out there who listens to the fans and cares about power.

Congrats to Water Warriors

At least in my little 'burg, you're dominating the market. Walmart has 2 models, Shopko has at least 4 (more than they have in Super Soakers), and Target and Kmart barely carry anything but Water Warriors soakers. You're ahead, I believe, because you have the best product on the market. Your watergu...
