Here's what it looks like: http://home.earthlink.net/~dcmaltby/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/hydroblitz_closeup.jpg If you want, save it and blow it up with Windows Image Viewer or something. I'll have to find out more about the HydroBlitz and a few of the others before I can make a verdic...

All you've got to do is hold out until the next generation of soaker warriors comes along and takes over.

I know that many of you have had "dreams" where you found the perfect soaker. Well, this happened to me quite literally. In my dream, I was wandering around Super Target somewhere in the home department. I was minding my own business when--out of the blue--there it was: It was a super soaker, just ...

Even if Buzz Bee does come out with something really spectacular, something that we haven't seen for years, it's not like you'll just be able to walk up to Wal-mart and buy it!

The only Max Infusion soakers that my SuperWalmart had were the orange FF's and the Overload. All of the Overloads were gone, but the price tag said they wanted $30 for one. No sign of the Defenders. They of course had the usual: Helices, WW Blazers, etc. (I can't believe that there are enough peop...

Who's wants a fluorescent-orange Flash Flood? I suppose the only advantage over the STE is that it can hook up to the backpack. Anyway, I'm glad I didn't hope for too much. BTW why does everyone insist on comparing these soakers and others of late to the CPS 2000? If everyone had a 2000, then yeah ...

Come to Florida where there is eternal summer and water! If the temperature goes anywhere below 50, it's only for a day. The biggest cause of soaker degradation while storing, it's from insects and other critters of the like.

Soaking requires about the same skills required to play dodgeball. You know, anticipating the path of the stream/ball.

I want to say that it's okay to be dissatisfied with the current soakers on the market; but the only thing that's going to help it it taking action. I'm not saying that it's going to change the world, but anything's better than just complaining.

We called our base "Four Pines". It was in a tree next to a little ridge by the railroad tracks. But it blew down in October 2004 during Hurricane Frances.

Basic Working Armory * CPS 4100 - It's my only blaster with a strap, so I'm using it for backup, leastways until I can get an APD (see below). * CPS 2100 - A friend of mine solved the pressurization problem. The biggest trouble now is its uncontrollable leaking. * X-Stream XS 460 and XL 460 - Pisto...

If I can get an APD, I figure that I'll carry that, a CPS 4100, and a CPS 2100 or smaller. If I can't, it'll just be the 4100 and the 2100.

I'm only counting the ones that I'd actually CONSIDER taking into a water fight! I have many broken or poor-quality blasters that I am only tinkering and doctoring with, most of which would not want to be burdened by in a war. Try looking for a CPS 4100 as they are still available in stores since they have been rereleased. They have great flexibility as well as good power and soakage. For a good light CPS rifle go for the Flash Flood. That's great, but where would you get a CPS 4100? According to the review, they are lis...
