Re: Cps issue
If you can pump it without any leaks, but it doesn't seem to hold pressure, than it must be a malfunctioning pressure relief valve. It is located at the base of the pump, where two white plastic tubes join together before connecting to the reservoir. One of those tubes supplies water to the pump, th...

Nice work and welcome to the forum! I'm really impressed by the quality of your project, and the final results speak for themselves. Any ideas how you would improve it if you were to build another one in the future?

Thanks for the quick reply Ben. I figured that volume might become a limitation, but I never considered the effect of repeated expansion on the health of the bladder.

Re: Cloudburst CPS Prototype
Drenchenator, I believe I've heard you say that a 3" PC is too small for optimal expansion of the LRT. However, it seems to me that the PC on a CPS 2000 is around that size or maybe even a little smaller. Do you think using a 3" PC would allow you to reach the same expansion and performance as a CPS...

Yeah, I can't wait to see how this turns out! Although I seem to remember you stating recently that you prefer covers to paint-jobs. What's changed your opinion? Or are you still planning on implementing this as a cover primarily?

Re: Balloon-Only PC
Are you using the PVC pipe as a base to start layering the balloons? You might want to consider using a hose barb or something similar. The CPS Custom Assault Rifle that storm mentioned is a great build. Here's the link: http://www.sscentral.org/homemade/cpscar.html Let us know how your project turn...

I'd make the argument that the Supercannon II is too impractical and/or dangerous for a water war. Still a heck of a lot of fun to watch!

DIY Fast Attack Water Cannon
So this guy built what many of us have thought about for years: a mobile water cannon. Operating a lot like a fire truck, this guy paired a 250+ gallon reservoir to a gasoline powered pump and placed the whole thing into the bed of his truck. He built it to extinguish forest fires near his home, but...

Re: Water Gun Fight event - Suggestion for guns help
It all comes down to a compromise. If you choose a water gun with more power, like a CPS 1000, CPS 1500, or CPS 2000, you will experience lower shot times. Smaller, less powerful guns will often shoot for longer. My recommendation would be to purchase a mid-sized water gun, so that you get good perf...
