Re: Spyra One

Hi guys, it's been some busy days since the launch of our Kickstarter a week ago. I am excited to read that many of you have decided to back Spyra One, wow! Thank you so much!!! We are enormously happy to see that much positive response to our campaign, both in terms of backers and funding and in te...

Re: Spyra One

Hi Tim, there is a screen, yes! We wanted to make sure both the internals and the person being hit aren't hurt by sand or other particles when using Spyra One, even when the water comes from a natural source.

Good question about the hard water. Let me check with the Tech Team and get back to you...

Re: Spyra One

It works really well now that we have integrated the pump. You just hold the tip into the water and it sucks the water in. Pressure is also built up this way, which is why there is no other way to refill it. It takes less than 15 seconds currently to fill up the entire tank, which we are definitely ...

Speaking of colors: here's something cool that Sebastian created today. Somehow hypnotizing... I can't stop looking at it :D

Re: Spyra One

Glad you like them too! The blue one is a bit under-represented so far in our press materials but it has also grown on me. :)

Re: 2018 Water Warriors/BBT Blasters

Interesting discussion going on here, I just dropped in! First, let me quote what a friendly toy developer emailed to us once. Sounds extremely plausible to me about why retailers do not carry any high-quality water guns (and why it's consequently not profitable for manufacturers to make them). In g...

Re: Spyra One

Guys, it's been a long time since you've heard from us, although I hope that at least some of you follow us on our Facebook or are signed up for the email notification? ;) A lot of things have moved forward these past weeks and Kickstarter is around the corner. Here's a sneak peek of the Kickstarter...

Re: Spyra One

Again, thanks for the detailed comments on water gun design here! There seems to be some confusion from the 3D renderings on how big the models actually are. So I just had my colleague Marius stand in front of our test channel with the 3D-printed model of the second design, just fresh off the printe...

Re: Spyra One

Haha marauder... In hard times, I will come back to your comment for emotional support. Seriously, thanks! In the meantime, I know you care less about design than about function, but I have another question for you all. :) Following another round of feedback from our Facebook community , we have loo...

Re: Spyra One

Thanks Drenchenator! I can't add much more to what you explain for yourself already ;) Seen on a continuum, the Spyra One really is designed to set a new standard in the way of intelligently incorporating technology in the long-neglected segment of water guns (compared to Nerf, for example). Instead...

Re: Spyra One

It's always a please to deal with you guys and see your curiosity about the magic inside! About the refilling mystery, I'm able to reveal it now: In short, there's an integrated pump that recharges the tank. This is a premium comfort feature that we are really excited about because it will take away...

Re: Spyra One

Thanks Storm! I'm glad to hear that you like the idea of a Spyra One! :) As marketing lady, I should probably be more promotional about the maximum range by exaggerating the highest possible range. Though I think in this community, it's preferable to talk about scientific facts. Can't fool you guys ...

Re: Spyra One

Awesome! I can't wait to come overseas and see the professionals at work in a real water war :D I'd say that trigger responsiveness and stream/bullet speed is one of the big strengths of the Spyra One so far. Even with the prototypes of the Spyra One, you get such a strong short shot that you feel t...

Re: Spyra One

Thanks, Seal! And happy new year to you all! You touch on an interesting point with the range. With 'conventional' water guns, I would also go for high range, meaning high pressure and high water volume. It just makes the most sense given the options in the current water gun market. With the Spyra O...

Re: Spyra One

Hi Ben, sounds like a reasonable suggestion, I replied to your email :) Thanks a lot for the offer! I will use the next couple days to check out the discussions you had in the forum here. We spent the past summer around Munich letting people test the prototype of our Spyra One water gun, and they lo...

Re: Spyra One

Hi, and thanks for adding me to the board! I wanted to join you guys for a while now but that reddit thread and your discussion here gave finally me the push to do so! I love that you are going into possible ranges and nozzle specs already, which is exactly what we are working on right now. Ben, you...
