Re: CPS 3000 Backpack
I ended up just wrapping the end of the tubing with e-tape and inserting it into the 3000's intake, and it has worked remarkably well. I did still have to get some extra tubing, and attach said tubing to the solar shower's tubing, but overall the project was remarkably easy and simple.

Re: CPS 1500 issues
The seller has accepted my offer, so I will be keeping the blaster. I got a 1500 for $5, and I do have another broken 1500 at home to draw parts from. Two crappy blasters combine to form a working one, possibly.
I likely won't be opening it up until I go home for the summer though.

Re: CPS 1500 issues
They can't reject the return, they can reject my offer of a partial refund and me keeping the item.
If they decline the offer, then I will return the item. Even if they don't want the item back, eBay will force them to provide a full refund since I was sold a broken item.

CPS 1500 issues
I recently purchased a 1500. The seller said it was fine, but once I tried it out it leaked. A lot. I will most likely be returning the item, but I have offered the seller that I will keep the item if they give me a hefty partial refund. They may or may not bite, as I imagine they'll have a hard tim...

Interested in CPS 1500/1700
I would be interested in buying a CPS 1500 or 1700 from somebody here. I have purchased THREE 1500s off of eBay and each transaction has ended poorly, and I just want a working 1500 dammit. Blaster must be working properly. Good cosmetic condition is preferred but not essential. PM with offers and p...

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
I've always been hesitant to drill out WW blasters, I've heard people say that their PCs aren't powerful enough and their tubing isn't large enough to push out a decent 5X stream or larger at a decent range.

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
Eh. The Gargantua is a huge step in the right direction, being the first true cylindrical CPS blaster since the Hydro Cannon in 2011, but I wouldn't quite call it on par with the 1000/1200/2100. The PC size, the pump volume, and the output just can't compete with those blasters. By nozzle modding, d...

Re: 2016 Water Warriors
Good news: The Outlaw appears to again be available at Walmart this season. They're only $10 a pop, and are placed right next to those strange new pressurized reservoir Super Soakers. The Outlaw was just as big and $10 cheaper, so hopefully people pick 'em up and get a taste of quality water blasters.

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
Atta boy. I shot my Gargantua outside when I was home last weekend, and I was pretty impressed. The Gargantua is no CPS blaster but it's a noticeable step up from the recent WW air pressure blasters.

Re: Need a QDF
Okay, it appears nobody has a QDF available to sell.
If a recall correctly I beleive there is a guide out there somewhere on how to build one? Could someone post a link to such a guide?
Thanks

CPS 3000 Backpack
Just purchased a CPS 3000 for $10, however the blaster has no backpack. I referenced the backpack guide of off SSC, but since that backpack is meant for homemades the end piece that hooks up to the blaster will obviously be different. What kind of parts will I need to attach a solar shower backpack ...

Re: Official Water Warriors Gargantua Thread
Don't have a Colossus, so I can't compare the two. But I do have a Colossus 2. I don't know exactly how far the Gargantua can fire, so I don't know for sure, but I'd imagine the Gargantua would have a slight edge just because of CPS tech. The two blasters probably perform very similarly though. Howe...

Yes, I do go to UNI. I wish I was more interested in basketball since our team is so damn good, but the big wins are still exciting. Re: Official Water Warriors Gargantua Thread
I also posted this in the 2016 WW thread, but the Gargantua appears to be available at Walmart as I purchased one a week ago. At least it is if you live in Cedar Falls Iowa. I haven't had a chance to test the blaster, because I live in a college dorm room and the wind chills have been consistently b...

The Gargantua appears to be available at Walmart; I picked one up a few days ago. However, I live in a college dorm and the wind chill is -15 where I live, so I haven't had the chance to try it out yet.

Re: CPS 1500 repair help
Thanks to soakinader, you were right and I was able to open the 1500. :) I have performed the rubber band repair and fixed the firing valve, however I have a new issue. The blaster does not hold pressure, and leaks like crazy whenever it is pumped. I opened the PC expecting to find a ruptured bladde...

Re: CPS 1500 repair help
I've removed pretty much all of the glue on the sides, and I can't pry the nozzle cover off. Is there glue on the front of the nozzle cover as well?

Re: CPS 1500 repair help
Is k-modding the 1500 a good or bad idea? I have heard from several people that the 1500 is pretty fragile for a CPS blaster, and the extra pressure the blaster would endure with a k-mod might not be worth the power-up.

Has anyone else noticed the Hydro Cannon is worth more on eBay than several CPS blasters?
While the Hydro Cannon was an exciting release, it is really not that great of a blaster unless modified. Yet Hydro Cannons seem to commanding a pretty penny on eBay, and is selling for higher prices than many CPS blasters including the 1000, 1200, 2100, 2700, Splashzooka, 1-3-5, and seems to be on-...
