Re: poll of the week

It's too bad I missed this poll. But I prefer the 3/4" size pump because it gets up to pressure much much quicker. Most of my homemades have used 3/4" and I typically pressurize mine from 60-85psi which is higher than the more powerful super soakers.

If you look at this image it doesn't look like there's any rotation but merely two halves that fit together.

Re: Semi homemade CPS with pieces from a XSHOT blaster

Instead of using a ball valve requiring that much force to open & close in a quick manner why don't you buy an easier to open and close ball valve like this one: 3/4" PRO SERIES- 2PC PVC Ball Valve (SOCKET) with Stainless Steel Handle and CHROMIUM ABS Ball [Available 3/4", 1", 1.5", 2"] https://a.co...

Re: Orca Mk2 details

The Orca Mk2 is a bit awkward to pump but otherwise is alright. It's a decent water gun and is more powerful than the XP-100 or XP-50-AP and significantly longer lasting than both. I would concentrate on saving up for a CPS-2500 since much of it is repairable or replaceable as in the case of the bla...

If you scroll down on this page it has a CPS 2000 MK1's
Inner nozzle insides which are straws with metal screens to contain them.

Re: Whats your opinion about the Nerf soakzooka.

The tank wasn't the only thing holding it back. The pressure chamber and pump are too small. The biggest annoyance though is the need to count pumps as it is hard to tell when the firing chamber is full. I would rather use the Nerf Squall Surge over the soakzooka given it's sluggish recharging.

What I'm trying to get across to you is the reason the CPS 2000 shoots further is the flow straightening straws. Everything else between them is essentially the same.

Re: CPS 2000 Mk1 vs CPS 2500.

The CPS 2500 is essentially a CPS 2000 Mk2 without the flow straightening straws and a nozzle selector slapped on. Even if you stuck the CPS 2000 Mk1's bladder in the CPS 2500 you would not see much difference in performance. By choosing a 2500 you are sacrificing some range for longer play time and...

Re: Which water gun is stronger, a cps 2000 mk1 or spyra 2/1

Without question the CPS 2000 Mk1 and Mk2 are more powerful than either the Spyra 1 or 2. The Spyras while not being as powerful last a about the same amount of time due to it shooting super short bursts and being much lighter are easier to maneuver. Reliability wise I would still pick a CPS 2000 ov...

Re: 3D Printed SS100 Clone

That's really cool project . It will be awesome to see it in action. But I would shy away from making the barrel out of 3D printed material since it will be acting as a guide for the pump handle and needs to be both smooth and strong. In my experience every Super Soaker 100 and 200 I owned as a kid ...

If anyone buys a Spyra water gun I would recommend stressing to anyone you let use the water gun being at least 20 feet away before shooting it at someone.  Or wearing ski goggles with the strap over the ears. I had already told my wife to be careful to not shoot anyone in  the head with any of the ...

It sure is cool that your teacher included that graphic.. Thanks I appreciate it Seal. I hope at some point they make a Spyra water machine gun because the current gun could fiire significantly faster.

Here's another review by Out of Darts that shows that they can be used aggressively despite their limitations.
