Re: Poll XP 250 vs XXP 275
Sorry to necro a bit, but I agree with your choice. Also, I got my 275 from DX and it doesn't leak much at all, the valve/trigger on my 250 is a bit worse.

Re: Poll XP 250 vs XXP 275
I have both, and I have to say I prefer the 275. The 250 is great, but the 275 basically outclasses it in every way. You can even turn one selector on the 275 1/8th of a turn and fire it on one nozzle. The biggest advantage the 250 has is maneuverability.

Re: Your go to blaster?
I second SEAL about the 2000. Even though there are many more practical options, it is just very powerful.

Re: Re Poll Best Water Warriors blaster
Wait, someone mentioned the Zook? I would also agree the Zook could probably outclass a 150 since mine have beaten both Colossi and XP's in duels.

Re: 300 acting up again
I think the valve works the same as a reservoir cap check valve, at least on my 300 it does. It basically switches the input from the pump from the backpack water to open air.

Re: X2O Water Blasters
I got one of these last year. Definitely not very good (I was hoping it might be good for modding) but it is PR and has decent range and output. The Python and Charger are way better, but it is still far ahead of anything Nerf has made. It uses an interesting trigger valve, a lot like storm guns.

Re: Your Soakfest Top 25
Uh Darthmeow, do I need to start about my 300 hitting 55' again (20 air pumps, 18 water) But then again mine was NIB until Moab 2013 and has barely been used. Mine was NIB when I got it 4 months ago and is also in great condition. I know it hits almost the same range as my 2K but probably not farth...

Re: Your Soakfest Top 25
1.2700- great shot time, can outlast anything besides backpack guns and is not nearly as unwieldy as it looks 2. 2000- simply because of it's sheer power and 10 ft range advantage, if you use tap shots and have a good sidearm it is very dangerous 3. Monsters- haven't used, but I would guess these ha...

Re: Why 2k?
-Best range of any stock water gun (I have a perfect condition 300 and the 2K outshoots it)
-at least 5X more output than competing guns
-great lamination
-good capacity
-easily repaired and very durable

Re: Online buying and the myth of the cps 2k
Ebay is challenging- best to wait for a 2K under $150-100, but it's tricky to find good prices. Its also possible to find almost anything for fairly cheap on ebay with enough patience.

I don't remember what the spread was, it has the nozzles plugged now. I wish it had a much tighter spread (think burst nozzle/shower nozzle)

Re: Water Warriors Charger
I definitely like it, but I have a 2K that holds full pressure for just as long and has a little more output Its seriously going to be a good sidearm/light primary for elimination games, just not for non competition games.

This is the stock spread: http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a536/darthmeow6/ScreenShot2014-03-16at72141AM_zpsa3f87d8b.png I really need to finish modding mine. I plugged the two middle nozzles but got only a small range increase. I think maybe today i'll glue the final 2 nozzles and experiment wit...

Re: Water Warriors Charger
Got one finally after checking 2 targets (neither had any WW) and a Walmart (which only had C2s and outlaws) at a Kmart. (sorry the pics are so big) http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a536/darthmeow6/IMG_3744_zps737a2680.jpg As you can see, it's actually longer than the P2 or 70, but it has a much ...

Re: Water Warriors Charger
Is there any reason for such a long small PC rather than a more normal one? Also, why bother with an intake tube for the PC? Could it be avoiding some patent, since the C2/colossus also are configured the same?

Re: CPS 2000 PC musings
News flash: 1200s are awesome. I really need to measure some nozzles on my modded one.
I have a set of digital calipers, so when I get some time I will try to measure almost everything I own.

Re: CPS 2000 PC musings
The 300 has a very small nozzle for 8X. DX, I measured the ranges flat because they are for a science fair project (APH vs CPH more or less), which I will post here when I am done.
