Re: Lonnie Johnson with a CPS 2500 - 20th Anniversary Video!

I'd like to see BBT push SS/Hasbro to the point where they have to re-release guns from the CPS line, release new guns on-par, or just die. While this may sound like a dream, it's actually happening slowly. I don't doubt that BBT can continue improving their blasters and become the next water blast...

Re: Where can I buy a Vindicator?

They have have them at target. They're even in the the Target tv commercials. Otherwise amazon does have them online, and theyre eligible for free shipping as I recall if you spend over $25.

What are you using it for? Would something like rubber cement work?

Re: The Tank IS Almost Complete!!!!!!! (Pictures)

Why does it lock from the outside? 0.o The main use I can see for this would be deploying it near an engagement, and then being a place your people can run back to when they run out of pressure/water while the guy in the tank covers them and keeps the other team from following, without that much ris...

Re: Pull Valve Design

How do you plan on building this, it seems like it would be tricky. In your current design how would you get the trigger wire outside the piping without creating a leak. I guess the main challenge for the whole thing would just be engineering the thing small enough.

Re: Hands-On: Water Warriors Vindicator

I wouldnt say its the outright best because I just picked up the expiditon today and It has a farther range and larger PC. The resivor drains faster but it still is effeicent on weaker nozzels. The expiditon has basically the same nozzels as the vinicator. Really? That's kinds of cool, that must me...

Re: Hands-On: Water Warriors Pulse Master

I got one of these from Kmart and love it. The styling is cool, and the largest stream is very powerful. The top of the stream on the largest nozzle is significantly more powerful than the Vindicator or the smaller CPSs, it should make 40', although power drops of very quickly. As isoaker said the P...

Fisher Price has a line of QFD powered guns for little kids I haven't seen before. They look pretty neat really, pricey though.

Re: Hands-On: Water Warriors Vindicator

I finally got one of these, and it certainly is an improvement over previous WW hydro power guns. At top pressure the largest nozzle seems about equal in power with my CPS 2100, although range appears to be slightly lower due to greater stream breakup. Also, there is noticeable decrease in pressure ...

Not sure how helpful that would be. I think the information isoaker provides on the dimensions, weight and power is more useful than classification based on real world categories.

Re: Hands-On: Water Warriors Vindicator

How does the stream consistency compare with previous WW guns and the CPS line? My main complaint with the WW blazer and orca was that although top power was decent, power and range dropped off severely as the firing chamber depleted. With this spherical chamber, is it better?

Re: Base Defenses (Portable base defense mark 1)

Strong wasting water for an obvious obstacle that would simply be avoided. Much better idea would be to attach a sprinkler to the hose and hide it, turning it on when you see somebody go near it. More likely to work and much less wasteful.

I like how they talk about air pressure guns at the top, but none of those guns even uses air pressure. And obviously not CPS.

Re: I think I got busted again

Alot of people see kids and just assume theyre up to no good. On the other hand, a guy dressed up in a ninja outfit with a mask holding something somewhat gunlike, even if it is a water gun, and kind of sneaking around looks REALLY sketchy. If someone thought you were suspicious without it, theyll p...

Re: Max-D 6000 or water warriors orca/other?

My orca gets a foot or 2 less than my 6000, and takes 25 pumps for full pressure. More significantly the 6000 is much lighter and less bulky, making it alot more wieldy to use.

Re: Max-D 6000 or water warriors orca/other?

I think the maxd6000 is better than the orca because it pressurizes much more quickly. Altho the orca has a large firing chamber a good bit of the water in it isnt useful because it has to be at higher pressure to get decent power, also the pump handle is awkwardly shaped.
