2021 Adventure Force Soakers - Including a Pressurized One!

I spent the weekend searching and discovering most of the actual new things. Of note are these two: the Hydro Burst, and the Electro Surge. The latter, just because it's been forever since I've seen an electric one, not due to performance (mine actually didn't work, and I'll be returning it to try a...

Re: Super Soaker XP100 Review

Because I'm tearing mine apart for the eventual review (arrived today):

Pump stroke is 101mm
Pump tube ID is 17.8mm
Pump volume comes out 25.1mL, so let's just accept error and say 25

Re: 2020 Walmart Adventure Force Water Strike Soakers

Adventure Force is one of Walmart's in-house brands, that they slap on various toy companies' products for putting on the shelf. I don't know what the criteria is, but assume that you're not a huge name in toys (Hasbro, Mattel, etc) or that you're not offering a huge product (Xshot's Fast Fill soake...

2020 Walmart Adventure Force Water Strike Soakers

I realize there isn't much activity here on the forum, but it's also shaping up to be a huge year for soakers, if anyone is paying attention. This is only the "off-brand" stuff, though. Hasbro has yet to do their official announcements. To that end, let's start with some of the things appearing at W...

Re: Is Water Warriors Dead?

http://www.blasterhub.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Screenshot_20190201-141816_Drive.jpg There is at least one new design, but info (outside of Buzz Bee releasing info) has been borked because the Hong Kong IP Office is redoing their entire online system, meaning you can only look at journals with...

Re: 2018 Xshot, Buzz Bee, PTT Pressure Blaster Internals

I'll take video when I can. And yes, Buzz Bee makes it. Stamped on the shell, and the red dot sight that comes with it is compatible with the rails on Buzz Bee dart blasters from last year. GREAT. NOW I HAVE TO REPLICATE MY RESULTS :P Adventure Force is Walmart's in-house brand, that they contract c...

2018 Xshot, Buzz Bee, PTT Pressure Blaster Internals

I'm writing up reviews on Blasterhub, but in the meantime I'll leave the relevant info here for you guys. They're all about $20 (may need to recheck the Xshot price, might be less on that one). Re: Adventure Force Super Storm - Walmart CPS

Well, did a little more testing on my Adventure Force Super Storm - I really couldn't get it to pump much more per stroke than ~4mL (and I can only guess that it pumps less than that as the pressure chamber fills). As for the pressure chamber, mine seems to max out at ~65mL (~2.2oz), but that takes...

Re: Adventure Force Storm Surge - Walmart CPS

Just picked up one of these based on recommendations and wanting to be aware of what else is on the market. However, mine doesn't seem to be achieving the same stats as BuffDaddy's. I'm only measuring around 4-5mL per pump (I actually thought mine was broken at first since I felt no major resistanc...

Re: Adventure Force Storm Surge - Walmart CPS

Buff, "...once things actually clear for approval, I'll be at Toy Fair..." - Are you in the toy industry? Prime Time Toys will be in booth 2903 at Toy Fair. Perhaps you could swing by? Can you post photos when you return from Toy Fair? Thanks, Tim I write things for Blasterhub, so essentially I'm g...

Re: Adventure Force Storm Surge - Walmart CPS

Thanks for sharing, Buff. I was curious about these when I saw them at Walmart last week. By the way, nice blog, dude. Clear and concise. You should post here more often when you have applicable news on your site. Don't wait another 3 years to let us know what you're up to. :-D Have you communicate...

Re: Water Warriors Charger

Interesting. I saw this blaster, thinking it might use that patent, but it appears not. Still interesting that they're using a separate PC in a blaster this size. That's what we get for speculation, haha. Perhaps I'm underestimating the time it takes between actually getting the patent and making a ...

Re: Toys R Us Water Gun Lineup: X2O

They seal very well. I tried pumping them with the caps off, and they didn't hold any pressure.

And yes, "Sizzlin Cool" is their water toy rebranding, just like "Air Zone" rebrands different Buzz Bee, Lanard, Banzai, etc. dart blasters.

Toys R Us Water Gun Lineup: X2O

Saw these today at TRU. They both use pressurized reservoirs; the larger one feels like a normal pin valve from pulling the trigger. The smaller one...not really sure. The trigger swivels back, and it's clearly not holding in place to block a tube like in a classic Super Soaker. http://i1118.photobu...

Re: Blasters to get rid of; no clue what things are worth.

Why is the tank on the 1200 blue? Considering that the water tank is of different plastic than the rest of the blaster, it would be affected by sunlight/UV exposure at a different rate. That's my guess at why it's bleached out. http://s1118.photobucket.com/albums/k608/Buffdaddy1215/Water%20guns/?ac...

Re: Blasters to get rid of; no clue what things are worth.

Shipping numbers have been PM'd.

In other news, I dug out an XXP 175 from the pit of hell that is my basement. The "Power Gauge" label is gone, but the blaster works fine.
