Re: CPS 2500 nozzle selector broke on my first time using it.. Any idea on how to repair it?
Oh OK, yeah the 2500 valve comes apart . My first CPS 3000, not so much - they epoxied the whole thing including the screws. Still, I would never salvage parts from a broken CPS 2500 to fix a broken nozzle selector on another 2500 - not unless the donor gun was positively trashed. The amount of forc...

Re: CPS 2500 nozzle selector broke on my first time using it.. Any idea on how to repair it?
I don't know if you have started your repair or not, but I don't see why you would need to salvage a second CPS 2500 for parts as long as you have the two springs, two nubs, and whole selector intact from the first one. From Ben: Repairing this will require a fair amount of work but is possible. Per...

My latest are two rather "OK" finds... https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1872/42671530830_1ab41c4d1d_c.jpg Well actually, there are three guns, and they are all pretty stellar! A working CPS 2100 (bottom) and a pump shooting capless 2100 (top) for 5$ each plus a mini XP70! I will get around to fixing t...

Thanks, I am glad someone enjoys my shameless plugs at past repairs. I still have so many photos to find that were lost when my imagehost died.

I second that. Nice find, probably a rare issue but I'm sure at some point this will help someone.

Re: CPS 2000 vs 2500 questions
I don't think anyone has tried to replace the springs inside the check valves, but given the age of everything at this point, I'm not surprised that this would eventually be a problem. If it isn't broken at this point, then I'd say to just leave it alone for now. I have in fact, replaced a spring i...

Re: fixing a broken 1500
Hey there, I think that soaker that Tim listed is one of the cleanest- looking and well-detailed description for a super soaker you can find on Ebay. There's no contact marks, scrapes or fading that I can see. Compare the color of the tank on the inside of yours with that one and you'll see what I m...

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
So I picked up a little something from craigslist recently. Take a look in this guy's trunk: https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4438/36905935056_85d6f98da0_c.jpg My first CPS 2700, complete with backpack! Also a red/yellow CPS 2700 and a CPS 1000 as icing on my cake. There was supposed to be a SC 600 as...

Re: fixing a broken 1500
You have probably seen the other thread but I'm posting this here anyways:

This is the firing valve repair on good ol' CPS 1500 number 2. Or maybe it is number 3? It's the second repair I've done like this on a 1500, anyways.

Re: fixing a broken 1500
Yes, I removed the firing pin. I cut/ground off the end of the pin to remove the whole assembly through the firing chamber. That's why I had to drill a hole and insert a cauter pin in the end (that's the little hairclip looking thing at the end holding the whole thing together). Every single super s...

Re: fixing a broken 1500
Just thought I would point you at this post: http://waterwar.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=125&t=6816&p=61335#p61335 Unfortunately I have either lost the pictures and/or the original repair thread for my CPS 1500, you're going to need some machinist's tools (Tap + drill press at the very least) to make ...

Yeah sorry Minus was bought by another company and the site quickly went down the drain before I knew what was happening and could get the pictures off. Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
Well, I recently took a trip down to Washington, USA, and I raided two Value Villages and a Goodwill. The first value village was unique in that it had the exit and entrance doors quite far apart on the building. The shelves were packed but disorganized. Didn't find anything older than 2010 at the f...

Re: End of Season Sales
Well, unless walmart starts clearing out Water Warriors Overlords, I probably wouldn't buy anything. Sales in Canada have nothing on sales in the US anyways though. Back when I was really into Nerf, I got some great 50-80% off deals at Target.

Re: 99 Cents for CPS 2500, 1200, and 1000!
lol the cps 2500 has a Value Village price tag on the back for $4.99.
I wouldn't bid higher than 4.99 for all three of those things, due to the condition and shipping cost.

Wow. That's a clean side CPS 2000 MK1 , BNIB. That is freaking legendary. I would say the sky is the limit on that puppy, you would be a fool to sell it for less than 500 bucks.
That has to be the best buy EVER.

Re: XP 310 needs help
Oh that brings back vague memories of opening an XP 110.... It seems to me these "bridge" /loop/clip pieces or whatever you call them, are attached inside of the shell of the gun in such a way that it is super annoying to open. And put back together. Yep. Start prying. Er, praying. Both actually. Ta...
