Nice one, certainly!
I guess a person who doesn't feel it's a hit when they've been hit squarely by a PC-load of the Flash Flood might just as well not take part in a waterfight.

Re: Favorite Thing About Water Warfare
I guess it's making other people look like newbies, soak them all and come out of a water war without a single drop.

Re: How would you fight?
I got one, more of a practical question. If you had a CPS 2500 and you had to face off against a CPS 2000 (doesn't matter which Mark), how would you proceed ?

So what you're saying is that, as a brute, losing your status is beneficial for your team, as they get points for it?

Re: What makes a bad water gun / water blaster?
The Aquapacks were never quite as good as they could have been really. The smaller shoulder-strap one only held 1.5l, which isn't much. The larger backpack one, not so widely available (but it was supplied with the Overload blaster) held 3l, OK but not huge. The blasters they fed were for the most ...

Hey atvan,
What about when a brute hits a player, is that just a kill?

Recently acquired a Shotblast and a Flash Flood with Max Infusion Backpack. This is also my choice armory in combat.

Re: What makes a bad water gun / water blaster?
Worst sin: Unreliability. Being a bit short on range or output might cost me a fight, but having the trigger stick open on the battlefield WILL cost me the fight. Second worst: Too expensive. I don't normally want to be paying more than £20 for a blaster. If I can get it for under a tenner, I'll be...

Re: Soaker Wishlist - Which soakers do you long for?
In that case, I apologize for my lapse, I seem to have misread something. It did get me wondering why a smaller PC and stuff got more range. In that case, swap ranks 4 and 5, it's the other way round, then.atvan wrote:All accounts suggest greater range in the Mk1.

Re: Game: Invasion
This rule set reminds me of a game mode I once saw in a game (called "Tribes: Vengeance") Where there were two base camps and 4 bases distributed over the field in between. The objective was to capture all bases. Players kept respawning till the game was decided. In a soaker fight, this may be done ...

Re: Hands-On: Nerf Super Soaker Hydro Cannon
Here are my thoughts on the Hydro Cannon: I bought it for a friend and took it out of the box to test, as I wanted to make sure it works, rather than gift it to him and have him tell me that it wasn't working. In terms of power, range, water supply this blaster is at best equal to a Flash Flood. Wha...

Re: Soaker Combos
My small arsenal limits my wielding options, but it already reflects my style, I guess. My primary would be Flash Flood with a Max Infusion Overload Backpack (good range, good power, enough water and stuff) and my backup would be a Shotblast, because of its fast reaction and the fact that it has rea...

Re: Soaker Wishlist - Which soakers do you long for?
Where are these demos? The 2000 Mk1 gets more range as well. When I said "it gets 3 feet furtherr than it's predecessor" I meant that the MK2 seems to get more range than the MK1. As for the demos I was referring to, here are the ones I mean: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDly8xGKtKY http://www.yo...

Re: Soaker Wishlist - Which soakers do you long for?
My wishlist (in order) would be : 1. CPS 2500 I never owned it but for some reason, after the demos and stuff, I just like it more than the CPS 2000. I like the fact that it's just so powerful and at the same so versatile. 2. SS50/SS100/SS200 I used to have the SS50. I was so little then, I didn't r...
