Re: Popular Mechanic's Super Soaker Showdown

Yeah, it's kind of sad what's considered cool these days in the current water gun market. It seems like we're stuck in the mid 90's (80's even, considering the novelty popularity of Saturators and the Thunderstorm). I think the Gorgon got a bad rap. All it needs is a strap for younger warriors. If I...

Re: Popular Mechanic's Super Soaker Showdown

Not a bad roundup there. I'm really digging the Gorgon. Easily one of the best, if not the best blaster of this season. The Thunderstorm is nice to have to look back to the old Entertech era of guns, but it just isn't effective for older warriors. I'm going to let the little kids use that at our fam...

@Nitro123PG - Nice video. I'm glad mine's not the only Splashfire that sounds like a wounded Tauntaun when being used.

Re: 2002 re-issues available now in my area

My buys weren't that great of deals, just nicer to pay a little less than retail on these (especially the Thunderstorm). Years ago I was really into my CPS 2500, and some of my friends had CPS guns so it was well balanced. Now we're a bunch of older guys that just don't feel like getting drenched. A...

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster

My latest buy was a Water Warriors Titan. Great little blaster. Reminds me a lot of my XP 65.

Re: fake aqua pack devastor ?

Wow! That's a doozy. I remember after the Super Soaker 300 came out, fake backpack water blasters were rampant. Now all I see is fake Bottle Blitz styled guns.

2002 re-issues available now in my area

In the past couple of weeks I've come up on a few re-issues that I couldn't pass up. I got a Super Soaker Splashfire for only $6.99 on sale at a Fred Meyer In the Portland OR area. I also came across a pack of two Max-D 3000's that were a bit more at a target. They were trying to sell the pair for $...

Re: most badass custom nerf/supersoaker thunderstorm blasters

I really like the paint jobs on these. I agree that the Thunderstorm isn't too useful in a traditional water war, but these just look cool. Reminds me of the pre-Super Soaker days of the mid 80's. I got a Thunderstorm just for fun as it was a reminder of the good old days of Entertech and Zapit! gun...

Re: Want better water blasters? Wish here!

I would love to have some new super durable CPS blasters in the style of the 2000/2500. Other than that, I'd love super durable, XP tech, Super Soaker 30, 50, 100, and 200 models. Some of my favorite styles. XPs would be nice too. How about just the whole old Super Soaker line up to the CPS blasters...

Re: XP 65 Pressure leak repair

Good to know CA99. I'll keep both in mind for future repairs. The picture was taken with an Android phone and effects app. I thought it gave it a good 90's look :)

Re: XP 65 Pressure leak repair

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I felt compelled to share since it actually worked. I don't think E-6000 would work in a larger AP gun or CPS gun. I still think you guys have hit it on the head by using plumber's epoxy and liquid 2 part epoxies to do larger repairs on heavier guns. For older very ...

XP 65 Pressure leak repair

I'm new on the forums here, but have checked out the main page quite a bit the last few Summers. I found an old trusty XP 65 at a thrift store last summer but it wouldn't hold any pressure and dumped water out of the handle when I pumped. Being a computer tech guy, I thought this would be a fun anal...
