Re: [CT] Pandemonium 2014 (August 15th-18th)
A wild atvan appears! Add me to the maybe list. *gasp* *suprised chatter as atvan announces that he might actually attend something* All kidding aside, there is some chance of me attending this. The main problems lie in some concern amoung my parents (which is by no means unwarranted) about meeting ...

Re: Nerf Rebelle water blasters 2014
Oh, and welcome back, Atvan! Your timing is impeccable - or perhaps, too ironic. Are you sure you're not posting because these water blaster models lured you in??? :goofy:  How's you know? I think what actually brought me back is that I missclicked and hit the Ww.net link in my bookmarks. I h...

ERMAGURD DOLPHINS.
Wait who's atvan?
Shame that I come back after a long break to find Hasbro being as fail as always. Not exactly surprising though.

Re: If You Were A Video Game Character
My character's stats would randomize every five minutes, sometimes being really good and sometimes being useless. A scratchbuilt RC plane can be made rather cheaply if you only use good parts where they are needed, and go cheap on say the airframe and motor, but get really responsive servos and a ni...
Re: APH build
The sputtering could be just becuase of the angle of the PC allowing air into the shot. In that case, there isn't really anythingg you can do.

Re: Concepts thread
Reading the things about the swords, the Moonlight Greatsword from Dark Souls popped into my head. Bassically it is a rediculously huge sword with a projectile attack. I know some nerfers make swords that shoot darts for the lols, we could do the same for water, especially with that much space to wo...

Re: Battle of the guns
Vote for 300 I always find it amusing when an American corrects a foreigner on their English in a way that suggests that everybody should speak English perfectly. Especially when they fail at propper grammar while doing so. Not accusing SEAL of this, but he made me think of it. My though is always, ...

^Well ShadowG78 added 1 vote for the Flash Blast, so I just wanted everyone to know that I am not going senile yet. The poll creation tab is located right under the bar with the Preview and Submit buttons when you go to create a new topic. Well you had that arthritis thing, so I don't put it past y...

Re: Shields and melee weapons - yes or no?
I can see shield being fun for certain gametypes, such as attackers getting a limited number for certain assault games. They are quite limiting, especially because we have to pump. I see melee as being used as it is in airsoft or barrel taps in nerf- something small that saves the shot at close rang...

Re: Another Concept
I've thought about this a few times, but the problem is the same as a spring homemade- getting the piston to seal. Also, I could see the backpack getting in the way of a smooth draw, not to mention the tubing.

Re: Water Gun Fight event - Suggestion for guns help
That's awesome. It's a shame that I'm nowhere near that. SEAL, Duxburian, Poseidon, Wetmonkey, y'all should seriously go. This sound like just about the ideal chance for us to walk in in full camo, APHs, and CPSs as backup. This is where all those APHs we have and never use would work best. If we (...

I think thr OP just misunderstood the comment, taking it as saying the Helix is better than the 1000.

?
Were you replying to me? I was asking about the number on McMaster that is essentially how strong the spring is, and what unit it is on that site.

Re: Boing! APH with a twist!
I'm not entirely understanding what you are planning to do, or why it will be better than a standard APH.
Also, somewhat unrelated, but does somebody know what units the rate constants are for McMaster-Carr's springs?
