Re: 13M CPS Chinese knock off blaster What?!!(Super Shooter CPS 5000)
I don't normally like dodgy knockoffs but I guess for water blasters the big names aren't really making them any more. Seems like they might also be a viable source of spare parts? Overall build quality gripes are sidestepped if you're just going to pull the PC or valve or whatever out to put in you...

Re: Water guns for dog walking
Maybe you could use a garden pressure sprayer? They're generally large pressurised reservoirs and all the ones I've seen can be adjusted to produce a decent jet. Range and output are modest, comparable to small air pressure Super Soakers, but endurance is long and dropoff isn't too bad. And garden c...

Re: Watergun with an integrated water balloon launcher
Nice.
Am I right in thinking the water gun part is a standard separate PC design using the accumulator tank for the PC? How's the launcher pressurised?

I'm afraid this has now gone, making its way through the depths of the Royal Mail to a new home.

Re: CPS 2000 MK 1 Bladder replacement UK
I can't recommend a specific supplier, but from a brief Google it seems it might be easier than in the past to find. However finding stuff that's thick enough, and a supplier that doesn't have a large minimum order, may take some digging. If you still have the previous tubing and the split was near ...

TOMY Bow Splasher - Unusual 1991 water gun
I was looking to see if eBay had any good soakers and I came across something unusual, the "Bow Splasher" by toy company Tomy, with a copyright date of 1991. Based on the information on the box, it's essentially a spring loaded piston gun. You'd pull back on the piston to draw water from the reservo...

Rubber band guns were super popular in Cambridge Assassins back in the day. Probably still are. I had a sweet double-barrelled one but it never worked properly, and a more ordinary pistol which did work well.

A fair point considering it's exactly the same colour as the soaker body. But yup, it's air pressure. A few photos now I've been able to copy them over. https://imgur.com/a/zGPfzmT I also just noticed another curiosity. On the back side of the blaster is embossed: © 2018 Hasbro EC Reg. Des. App. All...

New XP20 review
Just got the new XP20, ie the "re-release" of the Super Soaker 20, but branded as an XP for some reason. For the 30 and the 100 that's no problem, but there was already a completely different XP20 so yay confusion! I guess this ended up being a sort of proper review after all. Though I won't give a ...

Water Warriors Power Raider sold under their own branding in UK.
The Power Raider http://www.isoaker.com/Armoury/Analysis/2018/adventure-force-power-raider.php that in the USA is sold under WalMart's store brand, is in the UK and possibly other countries sold under Water Warriors own branding, for example https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/construction-and-...

Just when I thought I'd seen it all. Toilet Paper Blasters.
Jakks Pacific came out with these last year I think. Two are listed, the "Skid Shot" and the "Sheet Storm". I'm not sure they strictly qualify as water blasters, they shoot something wet at least. Though judging by the small size of the water reservoirs nobody's going to get really soaked by one. ht...

Re: If you could only have 3 water guns
CPS 2000. The legend. Got to be in there. A pair of Arctic Blasts. One for me, one for a loaner. It's a shame the one I had broke, it was such great fun, even threatening the riot blast gets people running. It might not be a "real" CPS but compared to the stuff currently on sale it's still something...

It has been a long time indeed. I was reminded of here when I was doing some tidying and ran across a couple of my arsenal. Not sure where the rest are.

The Flash Flood and Arctic Blast with the separate regular nozzle and big blast. Just putting my hand on the top trigger was enough to get people running away. It's a shame my AB broke.

SC Power Pak (without filler)
I'm happy for my SC Power Pak to go to a good home, ie to someone with a QFD to actually use it. I've never shot it so I don't actually know if it works.

Re: iSoak'D 065: Not Just What They Say - Part 5
I agree with Andrew in that the worst of the SS downturn is certainly later than 2002. 2007 was perhaps the last OK year, with the Arctic Blast as its standout, albeit not quite as good as the Flash Flood. The Secret Strike also wasn't that bad, not the most powerful thing around but I do like the e...

Re: Use of vehicles in water warfare
Well, in Assassins cycle-by shootings were allowed, and not uncommon. Projectile weapons (like nerf guns) were naturally banned from use on or by a cyclist. Commons sense was also advised; cycling with a CPS 2000 has been tried but is not recommended. Punts were also fair game, but canoes and rowing...

The ones that are broken
Besides that...I guess of the ones I have it would be the Lanard Waterbolt. Lame power, then the pump fell out. I prefer the awful-quality pound shop blaster to that, at least the cheap blaster can be excused its rubbishness.
