While funny, I'm not sure that's the right kind of thing to say when we have 11 year olds on the forum.

Anyway, to put the thread back on topic, bought a hydro fury recently. Much better than the motorized soakers in the nerf line.

Ouch! What part of the internals broke and got stuck? That sounds bad. I have some methods for fixing broken pump shafts if you need any advice. I had to do quite a few about a year ago. While we are on the subject of pumps I am still seriously contemplating upgrading the pump on my Gorgon. That will come in time though, my #1 priority is still my brace of XP Pool Pumper Blasters. I bought 3 new PVC parts and some wire mesh yesterday to make a threaded laminator and a new nozzle. The new nozzle should be around 5x. I already have 2x (stock), and about 10x (brass nozzle).

Time too update my armory and get this thread moving again

Super Soaker 300
CPS 1500 (still not quite working but I'm almost done)
CPS 2500 (Pull Valve has some massive leaks in the casing)
Gorgon (overactive PRV won't move anything)
Stone cold (I broke some pipes trying to fix the 2500 with some parts)
Explorer K (pull valve died and it can't use a rubber band mod, pump currently in the gorgon)
Renegade
SL 1000 (modified with the Explorer K's PC but shortened to fit, and now hits 45')
XP 215 (drilled out to 1x, so I could hold out against duel wielded crickets)
Hydro Cannon (shell and trigger)
If you ever bother reading these, I worry for your mental sanity. :oo:

Have you tried removing the PRV on the Gorgon?

Interesting, your Gorgon's PRV is overreactive, where my firing valve is overreactive. The firing valve often opens and the gun starts firing when I reach full pressure instead of the PRV kicking in and sending the excess pressure back to the reservoir. Meanwhile most XP 150s I come across are still working normally. Amazing.

My current collection of operational squirtguns. And yes I included my newest purchase of 2 Sprayco Monsters because I have always liked spray bottles. But also being able to shoot 25 feet with a lot more water output than an Electrostorm they can annihilate any Hasbro Electric. Too bad that they have been discontinued.

That is a NICE arsenal! How often do you fight?

You can see mine by viewing my profile. One of these days I'd like to pull them all out for a photo.

You have an awesome arsenal as well. Believe it or not most of this this collection was amassed over 2 years. It has been more than a few years that I have had a good water fight. My last good fight was actually a paintball match at Base Lewis-McChord. I love going up against people who really know what they are doing. Those Army personnel peppered the heck out of me more than a few times. Getting shot between the legs after sneaking up on a foxhole is hurts like a $@&/!.
It's not that I don't have an interest in water warfare it's just that a lot of guys my age in my area are more interested in doing stuff like: indoor soccer; disc golf; flag football; basketball; hiking; bicycling; indoor rock wall climbing and of course online games like Destiny and Call of Duty. When I go back home during this summer I plan on bringing home some prefabbed parts for a 2" wide syringe just like you see in the center of the picture. I might even up the ante to 2.5 inch pipe. Because back home in Sac the easiest place to have water wars is on the American River. Most times we'll have straight up fights with other rafts. But our favorite tactic is to pull within 40-50 yards of an opposing syringe armed raft and my brother and I will deploy into the cold water. We will have a 2" syringe either slung over our shoulder and flush with one side of our body with a Super Soaker strap or tucked diagonally under our life vest as we swim. A lot of times I dump the life jacket in the raft to swim faster. We keep the syringes out of sight as we swim until we reach plus or minus 60 feet. At that point we will begin to open up on the raft or rafts until they capitulate. Often they will try to engage but their lack of waterborne maneuverability, inferior equipment range and lack of tenacity are the main reasons they capitulate. But in all honesty I am not above spraying unarmed rafts on the river given the attitude they present. Often all it takes is a smirk and a warning shot before one or more members of another unarmed raft encourage us to spray one of their family members or friends rather than spray them. Which then leads to the party who was sprayed encouraging us to spray the traitors on their raft. Yes we engage in free for all soakage on the river which leads to interesting bus rides back to the raft rental place with our opponents/victims. Lol. Our opinion is if you are on the river you aren't there to sunbathe but to cool off ie to get soaked....

Hey the Blazer is no joke, it can just about hold it's own with almost legendary WW Gorgon and Vindicator

Speaking of which, what colour is your blazer?

I've never seen a gorgon or vindicator. My Blazer is white and blue. It's pretty good. I think I like the Colossus 2 better, but the Blazer is probably better in free for alls because of the big output. The big nozzle is great for hit and runs. I love it. My style isn't very much like that though, I'm not very quick, so I try to hide and shoot from long distance.

Welcome to WWn Cochise! Yeah, the Blazer is a pretty good weapon. I've never used one, but as far as I know, it's more powerful than the Vanquisher, and it's more comfortable to hold. If you want CPS Ebay is the best place. Small ones like the 1000, 1200, & 2100 show up quite often for reasonable prices, and with a bit of luck you can find something like a 1500/1700 for cheap too.

I never thought of the Gorgon and Vindicator as being near-legendary, haha. I think the only stock water gun that gets that title would be the CPS 2000 (and perhaps the SS 50). Though I've never been a fan of the two WW heavyweights. I'd almost rather use a Colossus in most situations. I'm glad BBT has made such vast ergonomic improvements over the past few years.

9 CPS 2000's! and 10 MXL's!

sorry DX but your puny 8 CPS 2000 collection isn't the largest anymore.

That's incredible. We need to try to get him on the forum. It looks like they have a lot of fun.
