Your first statement confuses me. Do you mean to say your gun is not similar to that (paticularly the PC) or it is just not exactly the same?

Example- if I asked you if you caught a trout and you were not sure, and so I showed you a picture of a brook trout, is your gun (metaphorically) more like a brook trout or a catfish?

And by sub-auto I mean cock it and it's automatically reloaded[my idea uses a clip :| ]
No-one (as far as I know) has made a semi-automatic WBL. It would probably need to be gas operated (i.e. some of the compressed air used to re-cock the WBL) which would reduce the number of available shots, as well as some of it's range. A bolt action WBL has been built (I think [it may have been originally but then converted into breech loading] :goofy: ) before and is a much more efficient option.

A semi-auto WBL would be more difficult, as you need some way of preventing further balloons from firing straight after the first one (making it fully automatic). In a normal assault rifle, a safety sear holds the hammer back (even when the trigger is depressed) after a shot is fired. When you let go of the trigger this safety sear disengages and the main sear (the one that releases the hammer normally) engages the hammer ready for the next shot. The change lever on an assault rifle permanently disengages the safety sear, so when you hold down the trigger, you disengage the main sear, and the hammer cycles fully so you fire on fully automatic.

A full-auto WBL would be easier, as you don't need any form of sear.

Even with bolt action or auto you still need to have a very good sabot/casing system to stop the balloons from being 'chopped' by the 'bolt'.

With certain blasters going in and out and also fiddling about modding, my armory for the past year or so when I came back and had an interest again has been rather unsettled and all over the place, however now that I have nothing left to sell or buy anymore, and have no more mods planned, my armoury has settled, so now it is time for a picture which will show a fully confirmed list, this is the only picture I took of what I have that I am keeping, most likely won't take anymore since I cannot be bothered to take it all out of storage again at once. :goofy:

Chances are I'd only take one again if I happened to get anything else new added, however I don't plan to buy anything else as I have spent enough getting what I wanted back again.

Wow, that's a serious arsenal. You pretty much have nothing but the best, haha. I, on the other hand...

Thanks, it has taken a while to get it like that since it is a lot harder to obtain nice/new examples now compared to 6-7 years ago when I was really into it and then in a hasty bad move sold it all, however I'm happy with what I have ended up with, it is almost like a greatest hits album or something! :D

My personal armament for 2013:
Primary: CPS 2500 (Anything goes rounds) WW Vindicator (Small CPS rounds) WW Colossus (Air pressure rounds) WW Cricket (x2) (Night rounds)
Secondary: Backpack with 50oz or backup gun TBD/ or nothing. Also two WW Crickets in my pockets but only in shorter rounds (they make climbing over obstacles hard)

Here is my 2013 armory so far:
My goal is to have enough midsized CPS/Air pressure to arm around a dozen people (I have to supply all my friends with guns at local battles).
Super Soaker:
CPS 2500 - my current primary of choice, really good condition, even has the stickers still (one is pealing though).
Max-D 2000 (2) - The trigger on one is a little stiff, the other is even worse and doesn't close correctly. I lubed them so they are as good as they are going to be.
CPS 3200 - Not in good condition at all, I found it in a trash can, got some guys name written on it and has only one nozzle now: big. It also leaks a tiny bit around the back pack attachment which is super glued on because it kept falling off.
CPS 1000 - A little scratched up and missing the sticker, but works great and I think it is a Mark I.
XP 35 - Stickers are pealing, but still there, works great!
XP 75 - It was working last I tried it and in OK condition, only used it once or twice since I got it. Could use new pegs on the tank though.
XP 105 - Same as the 85 but I have used it a few more times. Despite the fact that it sucks, I love the feel of it, it makes me want to take on the world.
PowerSoaker Pumper II - In working condition though could the seal in the piston rod leaks a bit.
Helix - My trusty side arm in many battles, a bit beet up, but it still works. I am planing a mod for it to make it only have the narrow setting, but for now since I got my Equalizer, won't see much action.
Arctic Blast - Belongs to my friend Luke but I have better water gun storage facilities then him. I put some red tape stripes on it to make it more patriotic.
Monster X key Chain - Mint condition NiB.
Monster X pen - Out of box but still mint condition, I hope to write a review for it sometime.

Water Warriors:
Vindicator (x2 - one is camoed) - My favorite gun, really like the feel of it and before my 2500, the most powerful gun I own (other then the cumbersome 3200 that barely works) My second pick for primary after the 2500.
Vanquisher (2) - Bought to add more big guns to my arsenal so friends have more to chose from.
Colossus - An impulse buy while looking for Vipers, not a bad gun and now has sick custom paint job.
Equalizer (2) - Bought partly to replace my broken Flash Floods and partly to possibly replace my Helix as a side arm, and I think it will.
Goblin - The one from isoaker, but the sticker kind of ran at the CW. Still want replace it with a new one that has water proof ink.
Cricket (x3 - two MK IIs, one MK I) - My favorite pistol type blaster, I often carry them in my pockets during battles. I want to get 2-4 more of them, preferably the MK I's.
Pulse Blaster (2) - Bought a few years ago since they were on sale at the local food store, OK guns for there size and better then most my Hasbro junk at the time.
Steady Stream - A nice gun for little kids.
Hydro Pulse - I good gun compared to its very small size, and great for little kids who can't hold/pump larger blasters.

Other:
Shield Blaster 3000 - The grip of the handle broke off, but there is still a stud which you can easily crank the gun with. Some of the paint is chipped, but the gun is in working order.
Shield Blaster 1000 - Hidden in my gun chest somewhere, I think it works.
Water Ball ML 50 - Not a very useful gun, but a cool concept.
Storm 2 in 1 - Just some really simple storm guns, the rear operates as a PR pistol and the front comes of and is a squirt gun.
Random squirt guns (x3)

Guns to be fixed when ever I actually get good at fixing guns:
Vindicator (Trigger repair) - Can pop this thing open any time and fix it, I did it to my other one, but I want to make a how to video which will take more time (hence why I am putting it off).
Lightning (Pump repair) - Again my Cousins, not a classic SS and I plan to give it back when I fix it. I fixed the cracked pump cap but during testing the whole pump broke off!
CPS 1000 - My friend Bela's, this gun works but the pressure release is way over reactive so no mater how many pumps it only shoots for 3/4 second. The grip on the pump rod also broke.
XP 85 triple shot - The trigger valve is stuck open, I can't figure out how to open it in a way that wont break the nozzles ruining the guns only cool feature.
Flash Flood (2) - Every one has at least one of these, dumb Max-D valves.
Arctic Blast - Same as the FF.
SS 100 - Was my cousins, like the XXP (which I traded to Marauder), but got broken due to carelessness (the 'O' that holds the tank got stepped on). I glued that but now it leaks like mad when fired.
Water Ball SL 175 - Probably the coolest gun I own, but even less practical then my Helix. So mad that this broke, don't know why it doesn't work, it just doesn't suck water anymore.
Monster X Pen - the outside is in mint condition, but the it no longer fires for some reason despite the fact that I almost never used it.
Nerf Switch Shots - a gun capable of fire water or Nerf darts, I haven't used it in so long I forget what is broken.

LEGO Minifig sized water guns:
These are all the guns I have so far that are sized for LEGO people build out of LEGO parts:
WW Vindicator
SS CPS 3200
SS Flash Flood
SS Helix
SS Max-D 2000 (x2)

I will try and take pictures of them soon.

for the problem check the trigger system, I had the same problem and the little piece that activates the trigger valve, sometimes the top comes off the actuator rod and gets bent. so that should be your problem.

anyway, my armoury is:
2x CPS 1000 (one in box)
2x powerpak (one MISB)
1x SC 400
1x XP backfire
1x storm monsoon force 4
1x Super Charger Triple Charge
and hopefully more to come

WW Outlaw
Nerf SS Bottle Blitz
WW Bandit (crazy CPS conversion mod)
Nerf SS Thunderstorm

Broken

Nerf SS Hydro Cannon (trigger stuck pulled back)

As far as I know my heavily modified Explorer the "Nightfury" is the only Explorer in any condition on the community, can anyone refute this claim ?

I'm glad you put it to good use. Would love to see it in action. You need to get that 300 working again.

Pump shaft (not the pump rod) snapped and I did not use a strong enough glue to fix it. I will try re gluing it soon.

If your shaft snaps while pumping, you need to find some less vigorous porn...

It did not break while pumping, it broke because a piece of plastic from the internals broke and was stuck in the shaft, so I had to remove the whole shaft.

Anyway, to put the thread back on topic, bought a hydro fury recently. Much better than the motorized soakers in the nerf line.
