Checked a different Walmart and Waterlords were in stock! They are retailing for $25 CAD. I picked up just one for myself for now.

I will take some pictures of the package and post them soon, and then take it out for a test run.

Haven't had too much time to try it yet, but shot times are fairly long with the provided nozzle sizes. I was going to try cutting out the spokes on the burst setting like others were mentioning. I may also open it up for some internals pictures.

That's great! How powerful is it compared to what you're used to?

Please drill out the smallest stream instead of ruining the typhoon setting jSpazz. and be sure to use a 11/64" drill bit because it exactly the size of a CPS 5x setting.

Also I think It's a great idea to drill out each stream within the Typhoon to make it more powerful, I drilled my XPSed Renegade's typhoon out to quad 1/16" (basically 4 nozzles the same size as it's smaller stream) without hurting the range and obviously making the peak output much higher.

I don't have too much experience with blasters. The only other CPS I have used is a CPS 1000, which I still have but its at my parents house and in need of repairs.

The 1000 feels stronger then the Waterlord's 2 lower stream settings, but the quad setting feels pretty strong, probably on par with the 1000 if it was a coherent stream.

I did have a little more power when the pressure chamber was full, and then it drops a little. I may have had some air in there.

hydropower systems are not as constant as true CPS blasters. Friends of mine have a hydro-power sphinx and a lightning - drop off is much better than Air Pressure but not as good as CPS

it will be interesting to know how the ranges are affected by nozzle mods

how does it handle? I imagine it's pretty heavy.

Holy crap, I'm going to have to go to walmart!

Hopefully the price point is around 20$. If it sells for more than that, the masses are going to miss out on this thing. Beautiful!

So many screws on the pressure chamber! Didn't even try to open it.

I drilled out the quad burst but I made a bit of a mess of it, and I drilled out the smallest nozzle with a 17/64 bit (I think). Haven't been outside to test the range changes, but the 17/64 nozzle seemed to still have good performance.

Nice. I found some of these at my local walmart for 25$. Tempting, but I am spending my money on a new storage solution for my collection instead.

According to isoaker, it's slightly less powerful than a Sphinx. It looks a lot more ergonomic though, and drilling one of the nozzles might give you some extra power. I still don't think it's quite worth it to buy one, considering the hassle. I would definitely scoop one up if only they sold them here.

Should I import a couple to USA if you guys Western NY?
I might be heading to Buffalo from Toronto on Tuesday.
I grabbed one, but performance is not too stellar as stock.

The things are cool, basically a Water Warriors Lightning with a larger reservoir. It does , however, lack a carrying strap mount.

Having not used one myself, I can't say for sure one way or the other, but I don't think they are good enough to export.

indeed it is just an big Lightning -good way to explain it. The PC is also larger than the Lighting's. So the Waterlord may be better suited to high output nozzle settings. Optimised i think you'd want the existing quad setting for spread and the existing larger stream setting for range, then drill out the smaller stream to 5x or more (the HP sphinx has 8x stock so this should handle a decently large setting)

JSpazz, would you be willing to sell/ship some waterlords for a fee?

This was discussed a few months ago. I remember looking up the shipping costs at that time and it was more then the cost of the blaster. Additionally, I don't really have the time to make all the arrangements. It seemed like most people didn't have a problem waiting until next year, so the enthusiasm kind of fizzled out.
