I agree with the above ^ Zook into medium, MD 6000 into light, Vanquisher into medium and light. I'm not sure where the Lightning, Blazer, or Tiger Shark should go. Limits based on range or output should be for the stock capabilities only. A Gorgon can support almost an 11x nozzle and it hits 40ft, but that still doesn't change its class. A K-modded 1000/1200/2100 can punch over 50ft and over 10x sheerly based on velocity, but is still clearly a medium soaker. Mods are what injects variability into a class and stops it from being all XP 150s or all 1200s/1000s, or all 2000s/2500s/1500s. Rounds where every soaker has the same strengths and weaknesses, or are all the same blaster, tend to stagnate. There has to be an incentive to try other soakers. I think any mod should be allowed as long as it doesn't change the size of the soaker. If you have say an XP 310, you can use it as a light primary no matter what you do to it, provided that it still looks like a 310.

Tiger Shark and Piranha/Lightning are easily in line with the Max-D 6000 in terms of overall capability, but Blazer/Orca is where it gets stretched. Against a bunch of XP 150's, I'd opt for Blazers/Orcas, otherwise no.

The cosmetic rule is probably a really good one for mods. You can only fit so much in a shell before something has to change, and if someone has the means to gain an unfair advantage anyway with the rule, I'd love to see it.

The next war I host is going to be heavily influenced by this. Much more variety in weaponry, and more green combatants. I don't know how that will affect war in a hardcore woods setting. In a sense, I should know, because that's basically the Vermin Wars: large number of people, hardcore rules, great variability in weaponry; but it's been a few years and community wars can go a number of different ways. Forgive me, this is a bit of a tangent, but inviting lots of people is a double edged sword. When you have only a few people, all of which know each other quite well and are all excited about one particular style of play, you know you won't have to worry about people complaining, breaking blasters, or being too tired to play the next round right away. However, when you add more people, you get way more opportunities, tactics become more dynamic, and there is a great reduction in standoffs (and probably an uptick in ambushes). I have some hardcore friends that used to play on my team, but some of them may be too cool for things now. I can probably get one or two of those guys and a lot of less skilled players (think Trey or my cousins). If we can mix up the weaponry there should be some great battle opportunities. I'm modding almost all of my guns. It'd also be great if we could include some mix of 275, 250, vanquisher, flash flood, 300, mx, and other more odd choices.

We also really need to duel some of these guns that are in discussion. The Blazer performed well in my test, but it really needs to be tested against more common blasters like the 150, Vindicator, and 1200. I'd also like to see the Vanquisher tested and the Max D 6000 tested.

Pandemonium may end up like this, as we may get more people than normal and with a wide variety of experience, playing pretty damn hardcore games. If your first ever round is the Grasslands CTF, it'll be like HBWW's first round being Chaos in St Johns' Woods. I'm really interested to see what people will do in that round, and the mile-long escort game, and the 3+ hour OHS. Tough, natural-colored clothing and old shoes that you're not terribly fond of are recommended, lol.
