[edit] Introduction

The Nerf Super Soaker Clip System Canister was released in 2011 by Hasbro Inc. As part if the new NERF Super Soaker Clip Sytem, they allow the user to quickly 'reload' their blaster when empty.

[edit] General Information

There are currently two iterations of the canister.

The original canister was introduced in 2011 and one such canister came with every compatible blaster. The canister itself can securely hold around 275ml (9oz) of water and can be attached to the users belt or waistband via the bulit in belt clip. Each canister features a large screw cap to make filling faster and easier. The canister itself is not pressurised, and as such it merely acts as a detachable reservoir, not a hot-swappable PC. The canisters are styled to resemble magazines and as such provide scope for role play battles. The original style canisters are available separately, allowing the user to purchase and carry multiple clips.

For the 2012 NERF Super Soaker Lightningstorm, a larger canister was devised. This new canister holds 1235ml (41oz) of water. This larger canister shares all of the features of the original 275ml canister, except it doesn't have a belt loop. this makes carrying this canister when empty becomes more difficult.

The 2012 canister is compatible with previous Clip System blasters. The 2012 canister is not currently available separately.

[edit] 2012 'Lightningstorm' Canister
