Best light CPS
vote for your favorite medium primary
If you ever bother reading these, I worry for your mental sanity.
Re: Best light CPS
You might want to add the vindicator to the list. I picked 21K since it is the only one I have used, and it is a good loaner because of the tracked pump.

Re: Best light CPS
My favorite light CPS blaster is my light 12K with a 2100 MK2 valve/nozzle. It has more output than any other stock small CPS blaster yet the stream doesn't break up like a medium/heavy K. It's also the most ergonomic blaster I have ever held, and that includes Nerf blasters. I voted for the 12K because it's the closest to what I have.
The Vindicator is by far my least favorite of that group. It has power but wielding it is like trying to carry around a Browning .50cal machine gun (no, it's not that heavy, but it's that awkward).

I voted for the stock 1200, for very similar reasons to Seal. The one I found while thrifting has range and output comparable to being K-modded, yet, the stream doesn't break up and it has the stock shot time of almost 4 seconds. These attributes stack on top of the 1200's other advantages, like its long field life, reliability, and comfortable grip. Those attributes propel it past my other light CPS blasters. I've had 2100s, 21Ks, 1000s, 10Ks, and 12Ks, but in the end I came back to the 1200.

Re: Best light CPS
There's a reason the CPS 1200 was by far the most popular primary arm among Red Scorpion from 2000 to 2006. People always bring up the field life advantage of the 1200 over the 1000 and 2100, but just as, if not more important than that are the ergonomic advantages as DX pointed out. The 1200 has a much more comfortable pistol grip and carrying handle than the other blasters. The carrying handles on both the 1000 and 2100 are down right uncomfortable. Both the 1000 and 2100 are smaller than the 2100, but only the difference in size between the 2100 and 1200 is enough to really matter. I also like the 2100's tracked pump, but it has the least field life out of the 3 and is easily the least comfortable of the 3.
With that being said, I actually went with the 12k. I'm assuming that if you're allowing the blasters to be k modded you're also allowing them to be nozzle modded. I'm not sure that I would pick a k modded 1200 over a stock 1200, but given the proper nozzle mod I would definitely pick the k modded 1200. I've done some k modding tests and have found that adding balloons typically increases range as nozzle size increases (to a certain point). That also helps to an extent with lamination. If I had the time and money I'd like to multi nozzle mod a 1200 and then k mod it and test range, output, and streamspeed repeatedly by # of balloons and nozzle size.
