Nerf Super Soaker Arctic Shock (2013) Info

Post by isoaker » Mon Oct 15, 2012 9:40 am

Seems like Urban Taggers has a little more info on the upcoming Nerf Super Soaker Arctic Shock

Not much more info, granted, but a different pic showing off a little more on what the upcoming Arctic Shock looks like. As they note, no trigger, thus look like this is a piston-based blaster. Not sure whether this blaster will be able to chill water as the cap on the drum doesn't appear large enough to accommodate ice cubes easily.

I'm amazed that this stuff gets leaked so early. That gun looks like it will be very awkward. I would imagine that a longer gun piston pumper would be easier to use than a short/tall piston pumper.

Nice reply marauder. :goofy:

The mag looks like it could fit ice cubes, but like iSoaker said, how to get them in is questionable.

And Urban Taggers has a new pic of the upcoming Arctic Shock. Piston-based and has a big cap to allow the addition of ice cubes. So much for some thoughts that the magazine may be able to cool/chill the water.

What I would like to see is a heavy-duty freezer-gel clip like a hollow ice-pack, instead of relying on ice cubes. Just stick a few clips into the freezer, pull em out, fill them up with water, rinse, repeat. The ice pack would last longer than a bunch of ice cubes, anyways. I just figure that this is the only practical way to "pre-chill" a water gun.
Oh well. At least ice cubes are plentiful.
