My friend got a flash flood w/ aquapack yesterday, and is completely sure that the top tank on the gun isn't a tank, and that the flash flood only has one tank - at the bottom...
Does it or does it not?
P.S. He says the recoil is quite strong for a watergun.

The FF has only one tank, that's the one you fill through the big orange cap. The "tank" on the top houses a rubber bladder that expands as you pump [it full of water].

to go more in depth, that thing on the top is the pressure chamber, its what makes the soaker soak. the thing on the bottem is the actual tank and is where the water is stored. and yes, the FF does have a recoil when you use the flash flood nozzle, but its as strong as other high powered cps soakers (like the cps 2000)
more reliable then a max-D trigger

Odd, they advertise the top tank as a tank on its' own. Oh well, the aquapack should help... Thanks for the info!
Would it lose pressure if he filled the bottom tank with water, filled the top, then re-filled the bottom?

No, it wouldn't; it has, in the past, in fact, been recommnded to do so, since that effectively provides one with a whole extra shot.
